Such good looking squirrel detractors. Lucky you! Unlucky squirrels! :-)
they all work very well as fence enhancements. you know i love all of them. so sweet
Don't you just love how relaxed it looks when they cross their front paws. Such cutie pies.
I love their calm demeanor while on the lookout. Benny is all springs and bounces if he even thinks about squirrels.. which is often. Beautiful pooches, they are. :)
They are always so patient. They are so beautiful.
They LOVE squirrels, don't they! lol =)
Good things come to those with patience. They know that a squirrel is just around the corner!
Meanwhile, the squirrels are laughing away...
Louise does have such a sweet face but they are all beauties!
BB in the first picture reminds me of the RCA Victor dog.
So what I really need instead of a squirrel feeder is a few good dogs? Hmm..
Love seeing your beautiful dogs. Even if they do give the squirrels a run for their money. Dogs can't seem to help it. ;)
They are so darn cute! I love the photos of your dogs (friends). So calm and relaxed. Tiah would be all over the place.
Good Morning Tex! Wonderful pictures this morning. Your fence is the bestest :) The fence is even prettier with those sweet pups!
Keeping those darn squirrels on their toes! Three beauties!
Its a wonderful life for these two on the Round Ranch. :)
They're so cute! I love the photo where Louise (I think? With the greying face?) is looking over her shoulder at the camera. So sweet.
Love the pictures. Your dogs seem to be so relaxed and happy!Wish you a sunny weekend!Yvonne & Raphael
Get those squirrels!
Nice looking bunch...they live a good life!
If this was about fences, I think you know that your dogs were very distracting and fences were barely noticed.
LOVE the name LOUISE! LOVE! Great pics!
There's nothing stale about this sandwich. Great at any time.
Such wonderful dogs, such awesome photos
Great lawn ornaments!
I take it they occasionally run UNDER those fences? Nice shots of nice dogs!
sweet looking pups there. wanted to thank you for your kind words over at my place after hilary directed you to me. :)
You do indeed have some terrific lawn ornaments!!!! I love the last one of Thelma! What a pose with those crossed feet! Thanks for the smiles to start the day!
A fine series with this excellent model posing just right so you could get some good fence shots. I especially like the stake-out shot! ;-)
They may be 'stale' to you, but they look really good 'n fresh to me!!
Where would fences be without doggies? Not nearly as useful or interesting, that is for sure. Treats all around!
Such pretty dogs waiting patiently for the squirrels.
All such cuties :O)
Thelma has her paws crossed the same way our Penny crosses hers. So cute! So lady-like. :)
What a great looking "sandwich", not stale at all.
Sorta looks like they are trying to figure out how to become unsandwiched:)
Doesn't matter when they were taken they are great
You have some noble-looking and protective dogs. One always needs protection from squirrels.
Squirrel, did somebody say squirrel?
Girl, do you know how wacky my day-teller is right now? LOL! I was taken back thinking I had lost a day (Friday, not Thursday). ;) They are vigilant in their duties! blessings ~ tanna
Hi TexWisGirl, Fine pictures of fine pups! Have a great day today and a wonderful day tomorrow, too!
Watching, waiting . . . listening . . .
I wonder what the dogs have in your head, what looks depot? The third picture shows the voven at math. Beautiful relaxing images / brita
Very beautiful dogs, great shots.
I love how Thelma lays with her paws crossed!
Perfectly captured. Nice fences.
I love all these pics! Your babies are so beautiful! Thelma has that super sweet look about her. :) Thank you for all your help for Saturdays post...you are Awesome!
They make great fence decorations! Love Thelma.
cute...they look like good company for you
No critters or varmints are going to sneak passed your adorable trio, T.
Sweet doggies doing a great job, nice fences too. :)
You know what they're up to. Can't fool mama.
hehhe...I was missing your dogs already! They are terrific!!!I like your wood fence...Kisses
love the last shot...such a lady...
I love when you share photos of your family photos. Beautiful. Darn varmits:) B
Nice photos of both pooch and fence! What cuties!
The first photo with the dog considering the fence is a winner in my books. Great for showing the fences with something else. It enhances both the fence and the dog.
The dogs sure seem to love this fence LOL.
Can I borrow your pooches for the weekend?... another feeder destroyed today.
All three are so precious, I LOVE dogs.
So sweet! BB's coat is beautiful!
I love the relationship between dogs and squirrels:) Wonderfully captured!!! Such intensity:)
Lovely shots of your wonderful dogs. I love it when they cross their paws. So cute!!!
They're so beautiful, love to see them.
And I imagine each one has their own "style" once the chase begins...
Thought about you when we were in the Smokies. We saw several different types of old fences up there.... Love your photos --and your puppies add alot to the fence photos...Hugs,Betsy
oh how sweet...they are all bautiful!
What awesome shots! Your dogs are so pretty.
Steak outs are VERY importantStop on by for a visitKarihttp://dogisgodinreverse.com/
If the squirrel is smart it will stay on the far side of the fence. I would guess that the fence would slow the dogs enough that the squirrel could get away.
Your babies love their squirrel watching. They are such beautiful dogs. Do they go through the fences or their walks or is their fencing wire in between the boards? I am mazed at all of your talent. Your painting are beautiful. My son is a wonderful artist as was his father. You can put a Monet in front of him and he will reproduce it unbelievably well. There is no effort to it...all of a sudden there it is. You all are both so talented. Hope all is well out west. Its chilly and raining here, but tomorrow is Friday...goodie, goodie. genie
Friday fences never looked so good!
Thelma looks so dainty and well-mannered. Are you sure she's actually on squirrel watch?
LOL great photos of the honor guard. My Sheba HATED squirrels. Border Collies tend to really FOCUS on things! When she was young you couldn't say words that sounded like "squirrel" such as "girl" or the fool dog would go ballistic. This got easier as she became hard of hearing!
Great photos, you cant beat having a dog for company....I wish i still had mine.enjoy your dayPeter
Some times you think fences are bad - they keep you from roaming to other areas - but sometimes fences keep you safe. sandie
How lovely your dogs are...really calm and happy they seem to be....here it rained heavily this afternoon but now is very warm wheather coming
I like dogs.
How attentive is that! They have a big job, and it gives them something to do.I love your dog adventure posts.
Those have to be brave squirrels to come to your feeder with all the dogs on squirrel stake out! :-)
I always enjoy seeing your dogs! :)
I had to laugh at the dogs' utter fascination for fences!
Gosh, I still love Thelma and Louise! They can come and watch my squirrels anytime!!!..:)JP
Beautiful dogs...and they're enjoying the sunshine. :)Happy weekend! :)
Aaaww, they sure are cute!
Oh they are patiently waiting for something to appear, hehe. So cute!Friday Fences
They always seem so laid back...as if nothing ever ruffles their fur.
well cared for and loved, those squirells don't stand a chance!!
Such great photos! I just love that last shot of Thelma.
I'll bet they are all protective of you. email@example.com
Run squirrel run!
Thelma and Louise are quite well behaved for the camera! I love their patience. :)
I'm thinking every squirrel in the neighborhood is trembling in fear when there is a stake-out!
How cute...they really take their job seriously don't they! Great photo's as usual. I hope your weekend is a good one...and if you get some rain could you please send it our way?....thanks in advance ;)Maura
Nice photos! The soft focus of the fence in the background in the Louise photos is wonderful! Makes for a great scene. Thelma is very lady-like! LOL!
Oh so much patience. Do the squirrels sit in the trees and taunt them the way they do my cats?
Your dogs are so sweet! And I love the fence. A nice scene to sit on your porch (assuming your porch faces this direction) and just enjoy on a lovely day...the dogs peacefully waiting for the squirrels before they explode into action! :-)
By the way, I know you would enjoy a few cactus! Go for it! :-)
Such gorgeous, sweet dogs!
Those squirrels have something to think about don't they? I love your dogs, all gorgeous!
They are on duty.No disturb please.
They may be stale, but they are fresh to me. Beautiful pups in front of the fence.
i LOVE sweet Louise!i just want to reach through the screen and hug her tight!!xoxo
what great models. so cute. (:
I always love when dogs cross their front paws like Thelma. Sioux does the same thing -- so cute! :)
Squirrel stake out is all the rage among dogs you know! Love those shots and they're still fresh to me...
Nothing like a 'focused' dog! Great shots!
I just want to kiss Louise!
I love watching a dog watching things. Thelma and Louise are just such good looking girls!
Love these. Thelma is a beauty. My collie, sweet thing that she was, wasn't too bright. She would tree a squirrel, then position herself under that tree, confident that her prey was securely trapped in the branches above her. Meanwhile, the squirrel would have jumped from tree to tree and been long gone.
They are always on guard duty! Love your pups!
Had a dog once who always saw fences as challenges and never to my knowledge ever shrunk from jumping them no matter the height. :-)
Oh Thelma, You are my kind of lady!!
Two dogs here after my own dog's heart. Squirrel alert. Yes!!
You sure keep them busy with all "them varmints." lol
Louise is so sweet looking, bless her old heart and then Thelma, love the dainty way she has her paws crossed while on Squirrel detail~
Squirrels beware!! :)xo Catherine
Perfect!!! I love your sense of humour. It has made my day!! :)
With subjects like this, who cares if it's a re-run! Do you still have Louise? She looks like an old girl. What is her breed? All three dogs have gorgeous coats--what do you feed them?
Yes, how sweet is Louise! She looks adorable!
They are so relaxed. You really can see hove they like the life. It is lovely dogs that you have!
