Say hello, Zim.

Walked out to the barn one mid-morning and caught the horses taking a short break from pasture grazing.
Gem's inside the open stall; Zim's in the open barn.

Me:  "Say hello, Zim."

Zim: "Nah. Not really interested."

Me:  "Oh, come on! Be nice!"
Zim: "What's in it for me? Got any carrots?"

Zim: "Seriously, no carrots? No interest."

Zim: "Why are you still here?!"

Hello, Zim! :) I love the inside of the barn... you certainly keep it clean as I see no cobwebs. I miss your tuxedo kitty... it isn't the same without him.

I love horses. Had an appaloosa mare that was deathly afraid of cows! You couldn't ride her anyplace where there was any. Otherwise she was a sweetie.

Beautiful creature! And I'm wondering why you went in to visit without bringing a treat myself! :-)

Wonderful horses! I love looking at them! They do seem to know when you are taking their picture AGAIN and seem to get bored with the whole thing, though don't they? I've seen that reaction on other blogger's posts who have animals. It's so funny.

Nice, clean barn. Can't believe you didn't have carrots. :) My dd takes carrots for the horse she rides to the stables but she gets so hungry while mucking and riding that she ends up eating half of them. That tickles me for some reason.

georgettesullins said...

Oh my! I would think it would take a carrot patch to satisfy them.
