good to catch up again! Enjoyed your scenery/barns.
hey there. i really like the 3rd or last shot. such great views. have a great week. (:
I wonder what is the reason we are so captivated by barns? I am always "hooked" by the sight of a barn. Maybe it is the longing for the older, simpler times...whatever it is, your barn photos are always enjoyable!
Another fine selection of barns and I do like that last one. Nice to see it again. Everything looks so green are you getting plenty of rain?
Yep, very utilitarian. (How'd you like that big word)
Plain vanilla works for me. Any barn will do the job although I dream of one of the fancy one.
Great shots of the barns.Love the last one.
Enjoyed the barns. Last one I like more.
the last one is my fave!
Vanilla is a good flavor for me. ;) blessings ~ tanna
Great captures. If I had to choose a fave, it would be the last one. :)
love that last one, because of the trees. beautiful. and the vanilla in the field looks like it would be horribly hot with no shade.
So nice and green! They may be utilitarian, but they are still nice to look at. Thanks for sharing them with me. :-)
I liked "vanilla barns " and I really liked the repeat of last week with the leaning to the right wire fence . . . lots of Barn Charm!
I just look at all those barns and think about how many goats could live in them comfortably.
Dont get to see many barn up here in the Big Apple but I do have a love for snapping them and I have more luck with barns than I do with moons ..
Our barns aren't as 'fancy'as yours. I do occasonally see a good old one around here. Wait till my new camera arrives ...I'll be on the lookout. Love the pics. Sue
Built for work and not for show!
Love your barns and fences! You always manage to find more...Good work!
Vanilla is underrated, in my humble opinion. ;)
Utilitarian, not fancy, is the best descriptor of the typical Texas barn.
Whatever turns you on, lol.
I really like the last one.
Liked the barns but I really love the lush, green pastures. Very nice.
I hate reading your posts. They remind me over and over how bad my old camera is and how much I miss my new camera which is still being repaired. OK, I don't really hate your posts. I just have focus envy.
Love these old farm structures!
Love your description!
I guess we all have barn love.Great photos....
I really like the first barn/shot. The simplicity, lines, and color. I always like Texas barns. happy day to you TWG.
Love the slant on the fence in that last shot.
Fencery? Is that a Texas word? LOL
That last photo is my favorite. I love the wear and tear!
These barns are simple and neat! the ruin one is also nice.
I love vanilla barns! sandie
Barns are like chili...there's a style to suit everyone. :)
Taxas looks so peaceful....
Vanilla is sweet and charming just like these old barns.
Sometimes, only vanilla will do :-)
Always love your barns!!
I like them all. They all look like anyone of them could be filled with possibility.
Nice pictures of the barns :)
That last shot is definitely worth a repeat performance!
There is a lot to be said for functional
well i really like the first image and all that greenery. they sure do use a lot of fences in texas, good thing i don't live there!!
Well, if they work, they are beautiful. But that one from last week is quite a stunner. Glad you posted another pic.
I love the 2nd shotthere's just something about the spaceand the last shot is fantasticvery airy barn :)
Great barn shots! I especially like the last image.
I like the "vanilla", especially against the green leaves and grass! Makes the barns really stand out. The last one with the rust is cool, though!
Except for the green, grassy pastures, the barns would look at home here.
T, great shots! It sure is nice and green around there! Is the drought officially over? I hope so
Great barn tour! :-)
Hi TexWisGirl, Those barns look mainly useful except for that last one. The first one looks like a combo shop and barn but that is speculation on my part. Nice pictures. Have a wonderful Tuesday tomorrow!
The last barn looks like I sometimes feel, but non the less charming.cheers
I like vanilla ice cream...oh I mean barns
I like these barns Tex. They are neat, clean and being used. They are charming sitting in all that green. And the fences are an extra treat of charming, yes.
I love the great photographs of those barns! They are like windmills, I love them!!
I like the old barns like the last one but I can't help but wonder why they didn't keep them up. There are so many like that around here. Maybe the men are like John and not think that is important.
Such beautiful photography!!!It's amazing how you're able to capture the beauty in such a simple scene. If I took those same pics, I can guarantee they wouldn't be as spectacular...LOL!
That last barn looks so much like an old barn here in my area.
A wind storm looks like it could blow this structure down! Scary:) I don't think I'd put anything in them:)
Lush meadows. Green is nice / brita
Plain vanilla: love that description. :)
Indeed...this last one is superb! I like the small fences tooKisses
Well they may be "plain vanilla," but they get the job done! I guess the last one used to get the job done.
Nice barnage/fence-age! :)
These are Bert barns, not Ernie barns! :-)
Great barns!Loved seeing all the different designs, and settings. The last one.... love, love, love.Warm wishes..Kerin
You really capture some nice colors! We haven't seen the sun and blue skies for days here... Soon I hope:@)
Oh those barns, we still have our eye on 2 properties which have shearing sheds as options to purchase, they are just fantastic, of course, i'd convert to a studio, imagine that!! Rustic on the outside, glorious & cosy on the inside, love Posie
The barns may be plain vanilla, but sitting in the lush green grass they look beautiful. Good to see after the drought last year.
Nice vanilla barns! lol Sorry I've been behind visitig your blog. My son was sick Friday and Saturday and it got me today. :(
Awesome, they are wonderful! Barns are one of my favorites.
The last one is my favorite, I think. It makes me sad to think all the lovely old barns will one day no longer stand. So glad people like you capture them in photos to remember.
I like vanilla! Looks like it's greening up nicely there. :)
I really like the whitewashed look of the first one. All barns are great, plain or colorful.
I call them metal ones, equipment sheds or garages. Barns are made of wood, red or grey in color. Still nice pics to look at, though.
I love the last one. Were just getting green here and I m starting to think about planting my garden
Not bad... Not bad... But I do like last weeks better..
They look very much like the barns in our part of Australia, very functional.
LOVE LOVE LOVE barns.I saw some beautiful ones in Pennsyvania, too.We should take a photography jaunt…just to look at barns!
Lots f beautiful lush green with that vanilla too!
but there is just 'something' about barns ~ luv' em.'love & hugs from afar'
Barn charm is the last one with grass. Tucked away, and the pretty wood. I thought you told me there is not much grass around there right now?
love those meadows...so beautiful!enjoyed your barns/lush green!have a great week ahead!xoxo
It is surprising to see such small barns in Texas. Considering everything is supposedly 'bigger in Texas'.They are cute!
On the last picture is a barn with very good airing :-)Have a nice dayGreetings, Angela
They're all great, twg, but love that last one all grown over & stylin & profilin, plus a fence in front to boot! =)
Lovely photos.Hope that you are well,I'm playing catch-upand think it will take me a while!!Fiona x
As long as a barn serves its purpose, who can complain???
Love these. Gotta love those TX barns!
:-) Great...lovely colours...
Very practical barns! I enjoyed seeing last week's again! :)
