Gorgeous house . . . have you ever seen anyone sitting in the red cushioned wicker?
Wind trägt unsere Gedanken fort, in Wolken gehüllt umrunden sie die Welt...Lieben Gruß und Carpe DiemCL
Wow! I just can dream from such a house. Gorgeaous!Thank you for your nice words.
I must agree, beautiful home !
Stunning! The pop of red is so striking.
The red seat cushions give it just a touch of pizzazz!
Oh, how stately and beautiful ...love the red cushions!Blessings,Gert
The red cushions certainly point to life around that grand place. Imagine the light that comes in those windows when the curtains are opened.
so beautiful and i love the chairs, i would like to rock in the first one on the left.
Impressive columns! But the naked lady statue at the front door is a hoot!
Oooooooh! Aaaaah! LOVE these photos!! blessings ~ tanna

Really pretty...but kinda sad. Those chairs on the porch aren't grouped for conversation.Although I love solitary time,it's seems somewhat lonely here.
nice house photos T, but why do they have the chairs so far apart on the front porch ? have they fell out with each other ?peter
Nice! Very southern looking to me.
Wow, such grand columns. I think these homes are cool, but I'm not a fan of the pure white, I need some color.
It's really a grand house. I love the Corinthian columns and the abundance of huge windows.
I wonder what the inside looks like. So pretty.
Very nice...those red pillows really pop in the second shot!
Now that's a beautiful front porch.
Beautiful place - your summer cottage ?:-))
Beautiful home. I would love a front porch like that.
Wow! We just don't have homes like that up north. You can almost imagine sitting on the porch with a mint julep and a hand fan!
My, my, my, isn't that one grand!
I could swear I heard the birds chirping in the trees. Love the beautiful paint job.
Oh that is a pretty one too. I love old houses like that. It is nice that it is so well maintained.
HI Teresa...Large and lovely ,but so not me hahaha!! Although I would love to set on the front porch, I bet they don't ...just for show I bet ; }!Grace
A very nice place!
All this place needs is Hal Holbrook in his white Mark Twain suit, sitting in one of those cushy chairs, telling stories and passing out Mint Juleps to all and sundry in attendance. Are you there? I'm there!Jo
Gotta love a Corinthian column in Texas...
WOW, that is beautiful!! I wouldn't want to be the window washer though! ;-)
That is an elegant old house.charlotte
Maybe I should have chats on the porch at a place like that!
Whoa, too much white. Put some color on that house.
What an elegant, classic home. It looks so great nestled in the trees.
That reminds me of Scarlett's house in Gone With the Wind! Lovely old house it is!
Classical elegance, quiet taste...BIG love! Have a great Sunday! xoxo
Nice!I once delivered mail to a house where they had added styrofoam pillars, painted with gold spray paint. They weren't being ironic, either. Lordy.
Tex!Fantastic property. Beautiful.Your photos are excellent.Lucja
Beautiful house with a grand front porch.
This is such a beautiful place! Love the Pillars.
Ny neighborhood association would have a hissy fit over the statue. :-)
The statues and the red pillows are awesome! Thank you for this charming southern home.
There is a house similar to this in Glendale, CA. Rumor has it they used it for some of the porch scenes in "Gone With The Wind"
Love those colorful pillows on the chairs out front. And all those windows! But wouldn't want to clean them.
The house is grand and beautiful. But it's not me. I prefer a little cottage what a porch and an English garden.Have a great Sunday!
Great shots! What a beautiful house!
Love the tops of those columns!
Wow - do you know who lives there? Love those pillars.
You could make a cake that looks the house on a wedding day, lol.
Wow, that is quite stunning! It looks like a mini White House:) Hope you have a great Sunday!
Really pretty! I like the windows and all the white with the red cushions...nice! Looks like there maybe a muscle car parked to the left??Hope you're enjoying your day. :)
T, lovely! Don't you wish you had money!
PS: Sorry, maybe you do!
Love these...except the naked statues would have to go. :)
Oh, yeah! That's grand, all right! Gorgeous place! Are you sure that's Texas, though? It's awfully green. :-) They must have a big water bill.
Love the red pillows in the chairs. They just pop against the white!
Very majestic! That's all I can say!Eli
It looks really georgeous!! Like a palace :)
I'd love to be sitting on that front porch having a glass of ice tea!I see ladies in long dresses. :)

The South is so rich looking sometime...:)JP

That's so 180 from my place -- but it's lovely. :)
Hi, ya, wow!!!! that is really a beautiful place. Blessings Francine.
Rather impressive hose. Really like the shapely babe at the front entrance.
Those are very fancy!
Dearest TheresaOh, I checked the word "pillar"; it got another meaning like "main thing" Sure is the "pillar of the community", isn't it♬♬♬ Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
Very beautiful. However, it does remind me of some funeral homes around our area.
I love porches..or is that a veranda/
now that is grand...
I love these beautiful old homes, so grand to look at! Methinks, however, I'd never live in one...far too grand for me, I'm much too plebeian for such grandeur to be truly comfortable.
Those red pillows make the shot don't they! I love these old mansions and so glad you are sharing them.
Dearest Theresa,Wow, that is grandeur at its very best indeed. Makes us proud to live in the South.Hugs to you,Mariette
A grand beauty!
So regal. I can imagine a southern bell with parasol sitting on that porch.
It looks like from a different time and place, so regal and serene.
LOVE those columns! And the red pillows in the porch chairs. What a beautiful place.
What a fabulous place, so pristine looking.. love the red pillows!
Another amazing one!
Royal! Reminds of Somewhere in Time. I wonder what it would be like to eat breakfast out there.
I love this one! Those red chairs are a totally perfect color spot on that porch (which I could just live on).
What a gem!!
So very Pretty and so elegant in its own way. Lovely blog.
Oh so incredibly grand, i love this style of home, love Posie
beautiful and elegant!
Beautiful houses you show.Hanne Bente
Almost expect General Robert E. Lee to step out onto the porch. Nice photos.
It certainly is grand. The red cushions help to make it look a little more honey feeling, until you notice the huge statues. Do you ever notice anyone sitting out on the porch?
So fascinating pillars! Lovely capture :)
I can see myself sitting on that front porch sipping on a Mint Julep!
My great, great Aunt owned a home in Indiana very similar to that. It was moved twice. Once for the freeway to go through and again after she passed. The home is still in the family.
Beautiful, I love the white!
Too beautiful! Wow...they even have statuary on the front porch! :-)
Oh~ that place is gorgeous! Looks like something out of a movie!
Beautiful house...love the little hint of red accents on the porch.
Sall painted our pillars this weekend. If those were our pillars it would take him a little longer than the hour it took him to do the job!! Sometimes less is better.
Very fancy and what a great porch. I like the pop of red pillows, but, if that were my house I would be itching to get ahold of those flower beds and do something with them.
looks like the white house.nice place to visit, but wouldn't wanna live there! =)
What a loovely house!
WOW!! Quite a lovely grand house and surrounds!
Oh, this place is beautiful!!! The more I see the more I like. Also loved the previous posts of the little barn and the roadrunner.
