They are all very pretty! That third one is quite fancy too:@)
♥.♥.♥...lovely day darling....!!
3rd fence is fav. great finds. (:
interesting pics ... it's all about the gates isn't it
Dearest Theresa,fancy-schmancy (checked it with dic. Never knew the word, haha) and ostentatious!!! Oh, I don't think so. Yes, as some of your other friends said; My favorite is also the third one. Really lovely and cute♡♡♡Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
Wow~ all the brick is pretty but you can't see the house! :(I love the first one, though!
Hello, ya, I agree, loving the first gate, beautiful. Thanks for sharing, always enjoy. Blessings Francine.
First off....LOVE the 'sloppy kisses'!!! And the soft, wonderful texture of the nose. Sweet. As for the rural richness....sorry, I guess I am a Texan, I see the Texas Flag --- that stood out in your photo most for me. Beautiful homes, I'm sure.
...well, you do realize that the sloppy kisses I just posted about in the comment above, was all about the post below this one, don't you? lol
Those ARE fancy gates and homes. Are the gates locked?
Alle so ordentlich, wie für eine Film Kulisse...Lieben GrußCL
Photo No. 3 probably has the most ornate gate I've seen lately! We have very few places like this over here in Deep East Texas. They're usually owned by two particular professions, neither of which have anything to do with farming or ranching, although they may have a few horses scattered throughout their pastures as adornment!
The curly Q one is nice.
I am sure they all have electronic gates. You know yrs. ago in Texas why folks wanted to ride in the middle seat in a pickup truck?.......You never have to open the gate!
3 & 4 look like the same guy built them. I like those the best. The first one looks like they couldn't quite make up their mind about the look.Good Morning to Ya!
These are pretty, beautiful and elegant gates! Just loved the designs of each gate.
The stone work in that first one is very nice.
Wow, look at the curly-cues of the gate in the 3rd photo! I prefer the simpler one in the 4th, LOL.
I really like the last one! The third one is a little over the top with all the fanciness on the gate IMO.
Seems like gates are a 'fad' these days, I see lots of them around Seattle... love the second one with the flags... xo
These are beauties but beyond my preferred peasant style. :)) I've noticed a few very fancy gates here too. What's up with that?
These are lovely, I love the second from the bottom best...very pretty
Upscale, yessiree. Very nice pictures, too, Tex. Thanks for letting me see how the other side lives. :-)
Upscale yes, I think if you had gotten any closer to a couple of them, someone would pop out from the perfectly manicured lawns to tell you to back off! :-)
Posh Gates! Have a terrific Thursday.Best wishes Molly
My goodness, how fancy!
The third gate i sreally elegant and beautiful and I like the red barn in the first one :)
I have to say that they are indeed fancy schmancy.
They are all very pretty. Like that big B in the first shot!
That's some fancy stuff!
Oh I like the 3rd fence too!
Wonderful gates. Always enjoy seeing the Lone Star waving in the wind. Remember the Alamo!-and Goliad too!
O, they are all AWESOME, T.When I come back for my 2nd life, I probably am going to have one just like one of these. :))and you ARE going to live next door and I will feed you 'til you pop. :))
Yes, it is quite the elaborate entrance. I like that little barn in the background.
I like entrance gate at address 1050. Swoopy!!
They are pretty and yes, very upscale.
Jeez... they all look so clean! Maybe it says more about me and where I live, but it all looks a little creepy to me. I can't imagine people walking around there. It's like a ghost town. Or a house sale.
beautiful gates into beautiful homes and ranches, i love the rustic type and love yours much more than any of these.
Okay, if we're going to be ostentatious anyway, I'd have the third one. That beautiful scrolling ironwork!
Very nice. I like the framing in the last shot.
Does seem a bit much
The brick work on the last two are alike, but gates are different, neighbors using same mason?
We do seem to like to dress up our entrances here dont we :O). LOL Yep we did it too LOL
i like fancy schmancy, i think they are all lovely. i really like iron mixed with brick, #3 is my favorite!!they all have intercoms, interesting!!
Very neat and clean looking!
Glorious! Beautiful homes and gates.
You kept on finding fantastic fence, and yes very fancy too!
Hi Theresa, Lotta dough on display! Have a great Thursday and a super Friday, too!
Looks pretty fancy! I like the swirly gate on the 3rd photo.
The last two are beautiful
Those are all absolutely gorgeous! I'd love to have any of them in front of my house!
Lovely area...I'm with you, I like things as little less "fancy schmancy"...but it is very nice. Ordered, lovely blue skies, sense of Texas pride...and I can't help it, I LOVE the third gate! SOOOO pretty!
Yep, a little too fancy-schmancy for me as well, but they are pretty! Great shots!!
HI Teresa...Each to his own, but I won't want to live with a gated entrance! But this is a post about fences : }very nice!!Grace
Theresa....Are there ranches behind these impressive gates or are they the entrances to impressive homes? I think the third one has to me my favorite, too. genie
Lots of money tied up in those gates. That could be some nice camera equipment instead! :~)
Bet those fences cost more than my entire house and contents. Wow!
Tex!Further, gorgeous garden gates.Fantastic!
Wow ! These are very ornate creations. Interesting how the brick layers and stone masons will put together an attractive design.
That first gate has my name all over it! No, really... my first and last name both begin with "B". That place is for me!
Very fancy indeed. :) B
Wow! Those gates are amazing.
Wow that are some fancy places xD
As i done my trade as a bricklayer, when i was a young man, i have a eye for good brickwork and that looks a very good job on those walls, very neat.peter
T, No kidding fancy! I always wanted a gate I close and keep the riff raft out!!
Beautiful..I wonder why we dont have such gates in Sweden..
Not bad, the gates. I suppose that they can afford it.
Oooo... That's nice ;-O
The gates are nice and clean. Love the little red barn in the background.
I like the second and last ones best. All are pretty...
The brick and iron work is pretty fancy, but prefer wood and wire I think.
Very nice for fancy schmancy fences...
They do look kind of grande don't they. They are very smart though!!!
That is upscale - I like number 4.
I agree, not a big fan of those. Especially number 3! To each his own I guess.
That look expensive.Hugs
These are beautifully detailed. Love that third one. A bit ornate for some I'd guess, but I love it!
Less ostentatious would be my middle name, but I have to admit that I actually like that lacy looking gate (#1030)....
Very pretty shots. Those are some big houses behind those gates.
Ostentatious maybe, but Wow!Love that first one. The bits of red all stand out. What a gorgeous sky overhead as well.
You said it! They are pretty, but just not my taste at all!
They are fancy the third one is my favorite.
That is a beautiful area.
Like them all...love #3!
Gotta love those entrance gates!
A couple seem so SouthForkian to me. JR?
too fancy for me...but great shots...
Nice! Third one really caught my eye.
Neat and well kept.
I too prefer the less ostentatious,but love your pics!Aloha from HonoluluComfort Spiral =^..^= > < } } ( ° >
The brick looks identical on the two with brick "side wings." Love that house in the last one. If I could afford a full-time staff to care for it, I wouldn't mind having a house like that. :)
Beautiful! Very "uptown" as we say around here.
A little too formal for my taste but some of that brick is really pretty. And, my reading list came back. Phew! I switched to the new interface quite awhile ago so that wasn't it. Blogger. Sheesh.
Too fancy for me but totally Texas!
Dearest Theresa,Love those cast iron gates in combination with the stone wall. Looks very nice.Hugs to you,Mariette
Would be more to my taste if they stuck to one building material, but not too grand for the area, I'm sure.BTW, like your new profile pic and the little fat wren Sept. giveaway.
Pretty fancy! Doesn't look like much farming gets done on these places.
howdy theresa!pretty fancy, gotta love those gates!
Beautiful fence you show. The last thing I can really like.Hanne Bente
Beautiful fancy gates and fences. I guess this is like the life of the rich and famous. Great shots!
Nice pictures - but I think they may all look a little out of place in my street!Cheers - Stewart M
Witam serdecznie po mojej wakacyjnej przerwie na blogu :). Podoba mi się drugi wjazd, jest skromny, ale elegancki. Pozdrawiam.Welcome to my summer break on the blog :). I like the second entry is simple, but elegant. Yours.
wow, the 1050 gate is really gorgeous. :)
Very fancy gates! And thanks for reminding me it's Friday Fences time :)Have a lovely weekend and hopefully without the storms & hurricaines.
Wow, very nice & beautiful scene, i like your capture, thanks to sharing nice pic.
They're all pretty, but too Fancy Shamancy for me.
Those are pretty; I like the first one the best with the stone on the posts.
That scroll-work gate is so pretty. Bet it cost a pretty penny, too!
The first brick/stone "fence" is my favorite. Quite the posh area! :)
they are fancy schmancy, nice though.Felicia
Very fancy! Love your shots.
Obviously, the first one is my favorite....B for Brian! haha! I didn't even know I owned a ranch in TX. I do like the brick and stone walls in all four shots. The gates are really nice, too.
Well it is nice to see how the other half lives on their ranches as well. All I can think is all that brick or metal or stone last forever. While our gate always rots over time.
