Very cute and sweet composition :)
What a great composition, and Miss Cardinal definitely looks like an irate customer, lol.
oh, i love the shots of the cardinal checking out the bunting. that is too funny!! great title to your post. ha. ha!! (:
And a very pretty boy he is too:@)
They are so beautiful, such vivid colors! We don't have them in this neck of the woods.
Hahahah! She looks utterly flabbergasted! The outrage!
That Cardinal has some great 'looks' going on there lol
This just made me laugh!
I laughed out loud at Miss Cardinal. What a great series of shots today - and perfect for WW! Thanks for sharing them with us!
The second shot/look..:))
I love these pictures!
Well, don't tell everybody, or they'll all want one.
No extra charge
In my best bird voice...afterall, I am "Dicky Bird" - "hey, whatcha doin in my tub..." I miss the Wednesday when Dr. Momi did those add a quote... Blessings from Wisconsin.
Mrs. Cardinal is none too happy about this visitor in her bathtub!
I love the third one. The cardinal looks to be saying 'Am I really seeing what I think I am?'
can you hear me giggling? toooo funny
Made me laugh. Great shots and perfect title! :-)
That is funny! Great series of shots of two beautifully colored feathery bodies!
You make me laugh. I love the colours and the captures I could sit at your window all day. B
wonderful photo opportunity; two great birds
This series of photos are so cute and funny! The bunting looked like he was ignoring the cardinal!I have lots of red tail hawks invading my bird feeders!! How do I deter them? I would feel bad if I don't put out bird feed, but it is like bait for the hawks.. The hawks are so beautiful, just not by my birdfeeders!
The cardinal has a great 'What the??' expression!
OMG, those photos are fantastic!!Enjoy your day.
That's so funny! The Painted Bunting seems totally oblivious to the Cardinal.
I can't spell the noise I just made...something like garumph...the look on his face was just too funny!
That juvenile just doesn't know what to make of the bunting, does he? Nice captures!
Hi, another wonderful post, made me laugh. Such pretty birds, you are lucky to have them, me, not so lucky. Blessings Francine.

I love these little sweeties.....
Thanks for the morning laugh! I love that 3rd photo.
Such pretty birds...you got it all there on the Ranch!!!
The colors on those birds is just amazing. Our birds are pretty much gone except the sparrows and the pigeons so I'm glad you are sharing some of your colorful flock.
Lol...cute title. And...guess what I finally saw a blue heron that wasn't at the Run*A*Round...at least not yet. :)
And a very dissatisfied customer. Would Mr./Ms. Cardinal rather have a fly or mouse? :-) Just reading a book set in early 1900s where one of the jobs of the help was to make sure there were no dead mice in the guest bathtubs!
That is so funny. I would like a bunting in my soup..
Cute shots and perfect title! :)
That is toooooo cute Theresa. Looks like the cardinal is really upset.Felicia
Wow, the colors!!
Haha! That 3rd photo cracked me up! Perfect title. :)
The interplay between the two birds makes a fabulous sequence. They are such pretty birds too. I can't the fact the one didn't fly must mean they are no threat to each other. Fine shooting.
This is a most wonderful series of pics, Tex! I love them all but the ones where the cardinal is looking very rudely at the bunting is sooo funny! (Not to the cardinal, of course!)Cheers,Jo
What an adorable post. The capture of those birds while talking world affairs over is great.

Love how the Bunting is standing up for it's rights of being there first ............. LOL

HaHaHaHa! I love the title of this post. You are awesome.
*haha* Poor gal, she's trying every way she can to run him outta her bath!
I love the look on that cardinal's face in the third picture. She's probably thinking that the bunting is much more colorful and thus more appealing than her husband. Love this series!!
They have good colours :)
I am laughing while envying your "soup dish"...I'd love to see either the customer or what he found. Great series.
More birds!!!! I love how the Cardinal looks like she is complaining about the bunting taking up the entire bath:) Or maybe she's jealous of all the color:)

Oh my gosh, I love the title. The cardinal does seem a little upset to find the bath occupied.
Not FAIR! We have a bird or two that has some of the colors on a painted bunting, but ALL of them? Not fair.
Oh my gosh, this is such a fun post with your incredibly pretty birds.
OH i LOVE the quizzical look on the cardinal's face in those first two shots! great capture!!
