That barn is a classic!xo Catherine
Oh I love the shape of this one it is like an old sap burning house with the top being high and would open to let the steam out. Very cool. B
And it's a shape that I don't see every day! Cool barn.
Looks like a "story" to that old barn...
The proportions of the barn are interesting. Beautiful pictures!

she is sweetI love how she's kind of hidden in tall grass and trees
Please remind me . . . why is a barn shaped liked this. Cattle on the sides, tractors and machinery in the middle?
I like how you've shown us the barn as you've moved closer to it. NICE! The soil looks quite sandy there.
Cool little barn.
That top section seems higher than on other barns of similar design. You need to start climbing fences and getting some inside shots. :)
Beautiful old building (let) you show in your photos.Hanne Bente
Very nice photos.
Definitely a sweet little barn.
I like that design of barn. Definitely not a Wisconsin structure!!
Sou beautiful photos.
this shape of a barn is my favorite shape, we have this type here out in farm country.
Yes thats really a sweet barn!!
(wow! i'm actually in the top 50 today! ha)this sweet old barn looks so cozy nestled in the trees and tall grass!
Silly question but what do they keep in those barns? Animal or Vegetable? Have a marvelous Monday.Best wishes Molly
Love the architecture of those type of barns. We have a few of those in the rural areas up here in Indiana. Anyone know from whence came the influence of that type of construct?Hope you and yours had a wonderful turkey weekend, mi amiga
It seems to me that all over the place, barns are a thing of the past. I hope you publish or otherwise save all the pictures that you are collecting.
Sweet and charming for sure. Still a fixer upper.... :)
My favorite style of barn!Very pretty pictures. Happy belated Thanksgiving to you!
Love the old barns, but really like the ones that are repaired and being used.
Love old barns......and I always love your grand homes that are still standing in your area!
Much as I like my internet breaks it is always so nice to open your blog and appreciate and enjoy the scenery in your area that you share with us! xoxo
Nice shots. The trees at the front almost look like they're growing inside the barn so it's been neglected for a long time.
Awwww.... that is an adorable little barn!
Hey! Are we still in Texas? (;^))Sorry, I can't help myself having fun with Texas barns.
prachtig die oude schuren in het landschap.
I like the shape of this barn and all the trees growing around it. A sweet old barn for sure.

A fine series of this barn with the unique design. You found a winner in this one! Excellent shots.
Love the design. Nice. :)
Great old barn!Like the grey colour and the surronding of this picure!
Boy, I bet there aren't many leftovers at a vulture's Thanksgiving table. (Your other post) And their road kill get togethers could use a little Martha touch.
It is a sweet old barn! Love that shape!!
another old beauty
That is beautiful - the whole rood and second story is so different. sandie
So enjoy the pictures of the old barns you take, wonderful......Blessings Francine.
Lovely old barn!!
Looks like it could tell a few stories.
Great captures of the barn.
The raised central section is unusual, I bet it's toasty up there on a typical August afternoon :-(I bet there are some funky roof lines from the inside.
I do love the shape of this one!
Awww - very sweet and simple.
Pretty barn! Nice capture
Love the gravel road in front of it too!
Great capture! Your barn shots always make me wonder what they look like on the inside. Have a wonderful week.
Great old barn, Theresa. I love the way that one is built --with the area at the top...Have a great day. Hugs,Betsy
I like that tall center roof!
I like the old barns - the designer in me thinks of ways to renovate into a house, they are such great structures. :-)
Nice barm.. Beautiful pictures.. Cheers!!!
Welcome to Tex!Very interesting perspective images ...Regards
That is a very nice barn.
Like a barn with a loft!
Oh, I LOVE it!!xoxo
Belas fotografias de importante celeiro....Cumprimentos
"Sweet" is exactly the right word. Just makes me hope it will be there forever, but since it won't, your photos keep the memory of a time alive. As with many of your barn shots, I was taken back to my childhood. My dad drove us to the next village every Wednesday for piano lessons and we passed countless barns along the way. I'm only beginning to appreciate them now after getting to know your blog.
I think trees around an old barn are an added perk! Nice!
It is sweet ain't it.
Podoba mi się jej kształt. Pozdrawiam.I like the shape. Yours.
Could be Holland!Nice work on your drawing!
The architecture of this particular barn reminds me of a church steeple in a way. Love it!
T, nice one! I've never been in a barn like that. What's the pointy part for? Is it a loft?
oh it is so sweet!! i like that cool shape and the pretty color (like my home)!!
Nice! Those older barns are THE BEST!!!
I always like coming here, because your photos is filled with such warmth and beauty, compared to the weather we have over here - cold and sometimes very rainy.
I love old barns like that!
A sweet old barn indeed.
It realy is a sweet barn!Great shots!Dimi..
As I have said before- I never tire of a barn that is at least half way charming. This one fits the bill.
Awww, it is a sweet old barn in a peaceful area.
I love the barn.We had a sweet ole barn at the top farm. Someone stole it a board at a time...may they choke on it, uh, bless their hearts.
Dearest Theresa,Lovely to see summery barns! Though it was a perfect day today when I drove this morning to my specialist for a check up. Good report and my back is doing fine too. Got to pick up one more box of tiles at the Home Depot in that city for taking home. Our bathroom is almost done...Hugs to you,Mariette
I like it VERY much!! :)
I like the shape and color. It seems to be cared for too. Great barn and photos!
This is a beautiful old barn....I like this style. Don't see a lot of them around here. Oh, we see some occasionally...just not near as often as the others.
A very beautiful barn! It is very rare for me to see barns unless we drive about 2 hours away north.
Yes, this barn is old and sweet. I like old barns more than new ones. They have a great character in them. And history.I like this barn very, very much!!1
I love it! I think the little dirt road next to makes it especially charming.
What a great barn; I love the shape of it.
Love the big opening with the equal sides sections. Terrific barn!

Ah, I love the countryside! I like the shape of the barn.
Seems most of us like the shape. :)I like the color and how it blends in with its surroundings. Could really use some green here - snow tomorrow. :)Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Wow, that's a beauty! Be fun to look around inside.
Needs a paint job.
I love old barns. Nice shot!
nice angles to this old barn. i like that she's sitting by a dirt road too.
Nice old barn! I like the tall center section of the roof and the sharp angles. A bit of a departure from the low slung roof lines.
It is a sweet old barn! The whole scene is lovely.
I love the shape of it
Sweet barn--small but still I bet it holds a lot.
SaWeeeet! Love that roof lineThank you Thank you for joining, TWG! =)
i thought commented on this one but i don't see it and if it's a dup, sorry!! and it is a sweet one for sure!
Oh, it is such a sweet barn! Lovely shots!
Great shots of cool barn.
You're right--very homely, but endearing shape. Love the way it just squats by the roadside. And like some of your other commenters--need to find a "git fit" place after all the Thanksgiving feasting. My new health insurance plan participates in a "Silver Sneakers" benefit--perhaps I'll be able to find a good "git fit" place for old codgerettes in January!
That really is a sweet barn! I like the thrid image too!
I really think this is my favorite kind of barn...it always makes me think of Alabama!
Really looks like it has some history. :)
I like that style of barn.
