September SOOCP Skies

A few more SOOCP (straight-out-of-cell-phone) photos of one night's sunset.
Looking eastward to the neighbor's during the golden hour.

Then a little later, looking westward down the driveway from our gate.




Then, as the skies drifted back into gray, I watched two small flocks of Black-Bellied Whistling Ducks fly overhead - the last time I saw them this season.

WOW~ these are beautiful shots! Isn't it amazing how quickly the sky changes? If you don't have a camera handy, a beautiful sunset (or sunrise) will be gone in a flash...

kinda cool you got to watch your ducks depart, for warmer climates!! may they arrive safely and return quickly!!

I just learned SOOC (straight out of camera--which is all I know how to do) and now I know what SOOCP means, too (if I can ever figure out how to use my cell phone camera--LOL!).
I do love me some sky!! And the ducks have been making their way south for a while now--yup! I love the sound of them chattering as they fly overhead. Beautiful, Theresa!
