You're like the bird paparazzi ;-) Beautiful shots!
love that last shot...
Cheers and thanks for you and your fabulous photography, (even when "the subjects" see the "camera woman" and fly further away)
Hi!!!.. Gorgeous pictures about this white Egret.. Congrat and regards
Egret with regrets of not sticking around to meet you...
Nice egret shot! The heron was simply going to use a WWE move from the ropes! LOL! Some of us have to expend fuel and waste time driving to places to photograph this stuff. :-)
These big birds are so spectacular. There supposed is a group of egrets nesting just adjacent to our property across the bayou. A neighbor has promised to take me looking for them in his four-wheeler! Can't wait.
Great photos of the Egret. We have them all over here now.. but my lense is doesnt allow me to get closer shots. Your Egret looks as though it's neck is longer than the one's we have here.I know that it is thanksgiving there in the US.. wishing you a happy time with your family Theresa.best wishes val
Yep he spied you. Have a wonderful Wednesday.Best wishes Molly
wonderful water pics! :)
That is one skinny, long necked bird. :)Happy Thanksgiving.

Great images today, Theresa, as always. Wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving.
The pond, the bird, just wonderful!
WOW!!! and I love Egrets.....you rocked these photos.. Happy Thanksgiving dear friend!!!!
That egret is another stunning water bird for sure! Great shots - he didn't know woman with camera had telephoto! LOL
That's an Egret with the longest neck I've ever seen.

Wonderful creatures, so amazing to have them in your 'backyard' .. happy thanksgiving to you and yours, T!
Have any turtles shown up in the pond? You should see the movie.
pretty shot in flight!
Happy Wednesday........beautiful snowy Egret......fantastic pictures once again......Blessings Francine.
Nice shot of flight!
We don't have egrets here but I really like the egrets and herons. Great photos of this beauty getting away from the irritating photographer.
They are the most beautiful birds. That long curved neck.
Love that long neck, wide wing span and the long skinny legs.Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Beautiful birds, great captures!
They are pretty birds when they are flying
Look at that long skinny neck! Love that first shot!
You have all wonders of water fowl around there--I just never think about them in Texas. Maybe Louisiana, but for some reason Texas just brings to mind miles and miles of flat land sprinkled with mesquite trees and cows. :D
These are great!! The wingspan on the one you scared off is so pretty. I guess Tricia must still be sick since I don't see a post, but it might be too early yet. Hope she's feeling better soon.
Love the egret. They seem to be nervous creatures, flying away just before I get a good picture of them. The green heron is an interesting looking bird although not as elegant as an egret. Happy Thanksgiving.
mooie momenten,en een pracht omgeving.
I really like that shot of the flying egret. That is such a pretty shot. I also like Mr. Blue guy peeking down. You get such amazing shots.
Love the water babies, Egrets, and Herons.
Lovely captures again.
Love that long, long neck! :)Dang, now I'm going to have to try to find water here in the desert for water pictures! LOL!!
Great photos TeresaI just popped in to wish you and yor family a very Happy Thanksgiving. I hope that you all have a lovely day.Enjoyx Fiona
Yep, I do come here for the bird and critter paparazzi!! Love it! And what a neck that guy has!!
Your egret and Green Heron are fortunate that the lady with the camera is a nature lover who shares the treasures she finds with all of us. Our appreciation for the world around us is enhanced and all benefit from that renewed awareness.
Great shots. They always hit the road before I can photograph them.
Of course he had to fly further away. They always do :)
heron heaven there....
Hi Theresa, I have only seen a Green Heron as few times as they are not terribly common here in Cumberland County, TN where I live. We do have plenty of Egrets though I have only seen one here on the pond. Have a great Thanksgiving!
The shots are beautiful!
I always love your bird photos!
That poor green heron is never going to reach that fish ;>)...lovely pictures, wonderful birds.
Dearest Theresa,Great Egret is very observing! But you got him perfectly...Happy Thanks giving to you and your loved ones.Mariette
Hi T! Great capture of the beauty...you have a lot of nice visitors
T, your yard is to be envied! What great sights you see!
These are wonderful! Mr. Egret is apparently very camera-shy.... :)
I love the one in flight! such graceful birds!
Great shots! It's hard to focus on those skinny things, or moving targets.Happy Thanksgiving!
Fun shots...great spot to grab some great images. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Theresa!!
I think the "great" was just giving you a good flight shot there.
Nice images! I always envy the wonderful birds you see.
That little Green Heron will be disappointed to find his beak doesn't reach that far!
Maybe the Green Heron doesn't realize his neck is much shorten than the Great Egrets:) Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Lovely photos...happy Thanksgiving.
You see awesome birds at your pond, love the egret and the green heron! Happy Turkey day!

What a great egret! Have a lovely Thanksgiving! Do you miss the snow?? I sure do
you have such a spot for catching up with the water birds Theresa; lovely to see them here
These are wonderful photos.
That water sure is mossy. Is it stagnant? Do you have a lot of skeeters around your place? I love the shot of him gliding along...makes me wish I had wings...it looks fun and effortless...but then most professionals make what they do look effortless....kinda' like you taking all these great pictures! Happy Thanksgiving, fellow Texan...and watch out for all the mesquite trees and cows! lol
Great shots! I love the one of him in flight. Happy Thanksgiving!
They are camera shy! I wonder if the green heron is related to the blue heron we have around here... Have a great thanksgiving!
Great pics. The commentary made me chuckle.Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Egrets are beautiful, and you've captured it perfectly.
