Niech tej szczęśliwej parze nikt nie przeszkadza. Pozdrawiam.Let the happy couple, no one bothers you. Yours.
Such pretty pictures. And they are unlike any birds we have "in these parts"!
I love seeing 'love' in the animal world. And it does exist. And works better than humans most of the time.
Oh happy Wednesday
who knew ducks could talk? LOL... they are so funny and pretty to.
Great photos Tex of the Whistler ducks..never seen them. I would love to have ducks and chickens..even for their eggs..but we have so many foxes here. Are they on your property?val

Cute! The top shot is my favourite. I photographed a Wood Duck a couple of days ago. :-)
They have incredibly sweet faces. I also like the roadrunner from the previous post. He's got a goofy but cute look.
Nice to have whistlers back again, even though its summer again.
Hey Wood Ducks . . . we are in charge here . . . I will never tire of the Whistlers visiting the Run*A*Round Ranch!
Pretty photos of all of them.
Wow, you have whistlers and wood ducks in your yard together. That's rare around here.
Sweetest couple........love the Woodduck though, think they are such a pretty duck, great post......Blessings Francine.
They are beautiful. I live near a lake now. If I took my camera, a blanket and a picnic lunch would I see all the wonderful ducks and birds you do? xo Jenny

Chivalry is alive and well on your ranch. Quacks me up...Janey

Can't get enough of those multi-hued quackers!I'm sure they will come back in the spring though, they got such good treatment at the Ranch!Cheers,Jo, Stella and Zkhat
I took the time to take a close look at the "Live Feed" feature you have. I just realised it not only reports your arrival but records as to how long you linger and worst still, if you leave without making a comment. Yikes! I feel like Big Brother is watching my every move. Oh the pressure. I must now think of something to say about the Whistlers.... (:^0)
Hee hee, love those ducks.
Whistlers and a Woodie, how nice is that. Great shots T.
If I was a Papa Whistler, I'd be keeping an eye on my Mama Whistler when one of those showboat male Wood Ducks was in the vicinity. Those boys are handsome!
Love those colorful duckies!!
Love these ducks!!
Great looking birds, such sweet faces too, and love the commentary. Thanks for the Whistler encore.
A great looking series of excellent photos. You manage to catch such an action-laden series making them very interesting to view.

I love the whistlers! And the wood ducks too!
What gorgeous ducks you have visit you. We get the Canadian geese and an occasional wild turkey. :)
What a nice variety of ducks! I prefer seeing them to the Coyote's out here in the desert! :)
Hmmm, I wonder what you would get if a wood duck and a whistler danced the duck rhumba? a whistling wood duck?
I've never seen these birds in real life. I think they are really pretty, their colors are just lovely.
Just ducky! :~)
Geese are very territorial and so can be pretty nasty. We really have to be wary of the Canada Geese.
well, well, well, my beloved ducks!look at 'em!i totally enjoyed your quirky images!
hmmm...wonder which one is the male...just kidding...so obvious...I'm learning about ducks here.
Hehe, very cute!

Love the soldier ducks! I laughed at the last photo and caption! Don't those Wood Ducks know better?
Well I hate to say this I love the ducks, but I am developing a real fondness for the roadrunner. I think because there are days I feel like I could use that roadrunner picture as my profile pik. My hair sticks up just like that. I might even try some of that color of eye shadow. :)
I do love your Whistlers and the pretty wood ducks. Awesome photos!
The last two photos are so expressive. I hope these guys didn't read my comment for the previous post. They are up there on my list as well :)
Awe they are so cute. sandie
These ducks are so gorgeous & the only place I ever get to see them is right here. Thanks for that!
I tried so hard to photograph ours in Spring. FAIL!Cheers from Cottage Country!
Aw, they're kissing in that first photo. Or at least it looks like it. They are so adorable.
Yep gotta keep an eye on those intruders.
Great images and you got bonus wood ducks in there, too!
They still are too cute and remind me of warmer days.
They're awfully nice looking ducks, but man, oh man - that Wood Duck is a real beaut. Love the captions!
The whistler's were aggressive and drove the pair of prety wood ducks away. Oh, well. Guess they finally got their turn for some hand outs, too.
I just love their beaks!
I guess the wood ducks didn't know it was a private party? :-)!! I hope you're doing well, and having a good week!!!
Hahaha - I love the narration. You catch some of the neatest birds!
Dearest Theresa,Lovely, aren't they♡♡♡ I like the contrast of colors; orange nib(?), pink legs and brown body. And always admire the blur back, my talented photographer friend♬♬♬Heartwarming to see the lovely couple!Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

Cute lil' guys/gals. Can't wait til they return this spring. :)
Don't know how I missed these...I consider them the velvet ducks...
Ducks are entertaining little creatures and as adorable as the orange beaks are, the wood ducks are the beauty queens! (or kings) Wow.
Sweet! I think I like critters better than I like people.
Haha, I just can hear that conversation going on! ducks and gees can be pretty vocal:)
I love that brown cap on their heads:) It gives them that extra comical appearance:)
