WOW! I love the "swampiness" of this one!! Though I well know it was not a swamp... looks as if it could have come straight out of the Louisiana bayous. ;) blessings ~tanna

W pierwszej chwili nie zauważyłam żółwia, tylko ptaka. Mam ich jednak obu dwóch. Bardzo mi się ta para podoba. Pozdrawiam.
At first I did not see a turtle, but a bird. However, they both have two. I really like this couple. Yours.

Molly The Wally said...

We agree with Kathy. There must be a story there. Have a wonderful Wednesday. Best wishes Molly

The Heron and the Turtle, sounds like there should be a story book there. Nice catch.

That would make a nice painting or drawing!

I too think is sounds like a story. The wise old turtle telling the heron not to go too far in the swamp. Blessings from Wisconsin.

Hi Teresa...I think Herons and Turtles have one thing in common, they can just stay in one spot for the longest time, and not move ..just mindless looking! ; )

That's a great two for one capture! I probably would have noticed the heron when I was taking the picture but not notice the turtle until after I took it! lol

Beautiful heron, I would have missed the turtle though were it not for the title. You get quite a variety of critters down at the pond.

Beautiful. Always love your bird photos. Not many birds around the feeders this winter here for some reason. And a heron would be a big surprise. LOL

To say that I am dying here, would be an understatement!!!
