Very interesting are the gates greet you warmly.
Those gates provide a touch of class and adornment.
Those gates just say "we clean up nice" around these parts.
I like the stars on the first one and agree with you about the last one:@)
I like the first one- don't know what it is about the black, but it makes a handsome gate..and fence too.
A good batch of gates! First one is my fav.
Great pictures - the last, I really like :)
I've see the gates and I've thought, this are the gates of heaven (with stars and "H") :-)So much pastureland, well-kept and peacefull. I hope animals have a god live in this farms.GretingsAngela
you seem to have a never-ending source for gateways; great kitty!
I like the stars on that first one!
i would like a bed that fits that headboard.. and i like the up and down of the brentwood fence..the lines of it...
I wonder if one of these are auto gates!
Ha! You are exactly right about the second gate looking like a headboard...I'd be tempted to plant roses in front of it!
i think folks from Texas need to come to VA & bring some of those cool fences with them. so fun!! ( :
You have such a large variety of gates in your area!
Now you said it, it does look like a bed headboard. LOL! Have a terrific Thursday.Best wishes Molly
ja maar dan een acht persoonsbed.??
That would be a rather large bed, but it's definitely recycled from a headboard, isn't it? :-)
Looking at your photos, I can hear the creak gates make when they open and close.
There are so few fencing gates around here that it is so fun to always see your finds. If we go over to Lexington there are far more, but here in our county, not so much~
I think I like the first one the mostsuch clean strong lines
Those are great, especially the first one~ but that last one is right on the road!!
I love the looks of those. They give a great first impression to people and give the owners a chance to express their individuality and creativity. The first one is inspiration to me to put our initial in our yard somewhere or on our porch somewhere.
I like the last one!
I will take the H gate but without the H.. :)
Circle H for 'Home Sweet Home'!
And, a pretty headboard at that!! ;) blessings ~ tanna
No picture of "SOuthfork?"
The S's aren't backwards from the inside. It stands for "Sorry you're leaving"
The cattle behind the fence on the Brentwood place add an "authentic" feel to the place.
Your gates are going to make me so much more aware of looking for cool gates when I am out of the city.
I like Brentwood. Looks so homey!!
Very elegant those first two. No space for wagonwheels and bits of wood, there!
You certainly seem to have an abundance of pretty and stately gates near you. I love the H gate but if it was mine there would be a fleur de lis in place of the H. :)
Funny how a Gate can set the tone to the place. I would like to visit "Brentwood"...would feel like home with the "bedboard"...and wonder what to expect at "H". :D
The S's do remind me of a headboard....Heidi
It still just amazes me that you have so many different fences and gates around you.
Like the first one and the backward S does look like a headboard.Felicia
It does look like a headboard but for one very big bed :)
The "H" ranch needs some ornament on top. Otherwise it looks like the gallows.
Oh, how I wish I could have a beautiful gate like those. Hubby can't weld anymore so...Thanks for sharing these.
We don't see many gates on farms here, names are usually on the barn.
Folks don't just buy gates at Southern States there, do they?
I like the zigzag fence part!
It might get a bit tricky if the Brentwood's move :-0The other gate really does look like the headboard from an old bed.
I remember these lovely pictures! Nice wide open spaces...
I dare not show you my front gates._They need a good paint.. I must get around to it.The SSS gate would indeed make a splendid bed head.
Gorgeous fences, and they all looked like secluded places!
That last one looks exactly like a giant version of the bed I slept in as a child (I thought the backward Ss were for my initial).
My first thought about the last shot was the same -- a bed headboard -- king size!
These fences really make a statement....I can imagine they must be pretty darn expensive and especially when you add a name to them.
Another very nice gate.Fantastic photos.I send greetings.Lucia
I wish I were as good at stopping to appreciate things along my route as you are, Theresa. I see interesting gates from the passenger seat but never get a change to take a shot.
Gimmie an H. You a cheerleader? I was, a loooog time ago. lol
Gimme a "G"...Great Gates!!
Pretty gates! I'd love to have one on our property :)
Great gates, Theresa! I really like the last white one also...reminds me more of the scrollwork around the carports of 50's houses, though. :-)
I especially like the one with the name spelled out.
i agree that does look like a headboard ... i think i love the H
Nice ones! If I had a gate, I'm sure it would made of 2x4's and you'd have to pick it up at the end because it would drag when opened and closed.
Great Texas Gates, Theresa. Nobody has GATES like Texans!!!!Hugs,Betsy
Very nice finds....I WANT IT!!!! PRETTY PLEASE!!
Always a variety in the fence department in your neck f the woods dear T.
I wonder if those gates will keep that rogue Lama out??
beautiful gates!!i would love to drive, with you, down one of these texas country roads!
Gates, nice ironmongeries.
oh i just dont have any class at all...the brentwood one - is that a cemetery? or a old folks home? or a home for deranged bloggers who dont post consistently?;)
I like the way people express themself in their gates or fence's. That would be a wide bed though ?peter
Impressive gates. Are the properties impressive too Teresa?Have a good weekend.x
Cool gates! You're right. It DOES look like a headboard :)
Nice gates. The last one does remind me of a bed headboard. Often, I see old iron headboards "planted" in yards with flowers in front of it - like a bedspread!!!
That last one does resemble a headboard!...:)JP
Great gates, Tex! I also like seeing the cows behind the gates. Have a great evening and weekend ahead.
Nice gates Tex!Fantastic photos!Hope you have a wonderful new month!Dimi..
I love it when you post gates. I stopped and snapped a few while down in Texas, I just need to post them.
Pretty impressive gates!
I like the fence alongside the Brentwood gate, it's pretty snazzy looking too! :)
The first one has a nice clean classy look!
I can't believe how many cool gates are in Texas! I can see the headboard too.:)
Gimmee an H :) B
Nice gates. I need a gate. :)
Dearest Theresa,You never miss a great gate! The first one is my favorite here.Hugs to you,Mariette
I'd say there is a little cheerleader in you :-) nice fences!
Good Golly, Miss Molly....when I find ONE fancy entry gate I flip out. And then you post three at a time. I will never catch up with you Texans. I agree, the last shot reminds me of a headboard. genie
All of them are beautiful!
I'm always fond of dramatic gates!!!Lindahttp://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com
Beautiful gates. The last one does look like a headboard!
Once again, nice gates! I agree, that last one does resemble a headboard.
Love,love gates like this!
More Texas ranch gates!
Love the gates. They are unique in TX. :)
I wonder if my neighbors would think I'm odd if I put in a big ole Texas like gate at the end of my driveway? :)I so want to after seeing all you've shown.I like the bed headboard one!
such good-looking gates!love'em!
Another grand Texan ranch gate. I can just see John Wayne galloping through. LOL!!
Dearest Theresa,I think I love the way first one has the beautiful sky in the back with the lovely gate♡♡♡ Also surprised with the rich greenery in summer(*^_^*)Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan to my American photographer friend, xoxo Miyako*
Simple and elegant gates! Quite inviting :)
It's always fun exploring with you. :)
Always the surprising variety. In the Brentwood was amused at how fast they switched from decorative gate to utility fence rows.
Thank you for more Great Gates . . .
I like the stone pillars and stars on the first one and the simplicity of the second one. The last one does look a bit headboard-ish.
Ha! That last one does look like it should be a headboard...lol
