Coo-l Color Coordination

A flock of Eurasian Collared-Doves in the old dead tree. Blues, grays and taupe. Hmmm. Where have I seen that color combo before? Oh, yeah. My current blog template... :)

This is about the closest I'll ever get to a post about 'decorating'. :)

That's definitely what you call colour coordination :-) All of a sudden the miles have shrunk away after seeing birds there which I see regularly every day in my garden too. Talking of decorating. ....which we don't in this house, my husband has a curious lack of understanding of the word!!....I loved the photos of Zim with the colour matching pipe fence :-)

I also loved the Mocking Bird and Tufted Titmouse post and the sunny sunflower squirrel :-)

The colors DO match your blog theme! Such soft, pretty pictures! Lots of birds in the blogosphere today.

Awww...you caught them fluffing their feathers. Gray is a theme with your handsome mockingbird.

Were the doves an inspiration for your color combo Tex? We love doves at the Tiny Ten, but they seem not the brightest bird in the bird world but I love to hear them coo-coo, instant peacefulness.

We have collared doves here in eastern washington. They are newly transplanted and considered a pigeon.

Richard Pegler said...

Collared Doves are responsible for the greater part of the bird seed consumption in our back yard in UK. Sometimes the smaller birds can't get a look-in. Would you like a few more??

Michelle said...

They are mighty fine looking, just sitting there all in a row.

A very pleasing color scheme. I too like the more muted colors. And as Brian says, very important to coordinate colors on your blog. Love hearing the doves in the evening.

Dearest Theresa,
I smiled with your lovely title and first color combo phrase♬♬♬ Cute to see how they lined up. Yes, really great color coronation with the tree and with your template♡♡♡

PS> Thanks for your sweet comment. I kind of wish to have a teddy-bear color small poodle. But I cannot talk my husband into it. Haha, my grief must still be a great impact for him. I think your horses and dogs are really lucky being with you and the surrounded nature.
Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako

Doves are doves until you learn the differences and then a whole new world is revealed....Eurasion, Mourning, White-winged, Common, Incan, Ruddy, etc etc etc.....and then it gets exciting:) Love your shots!

You and I are not Homemaker Magazine (Is there such a magazine?) material. And that's a good thing. Pretty doves and good colour scheme, though :) Forgive me please, for I have written too much again. Skip it all except for Bill and Black Jack's pictures and the American Dipper video :)
