Morning, what wonderful pictures of the Squirrel, I can almost reach out and touch it......Blessings Francine.
These are wonderful!!! So cute!
he's adorable and obviously happy
A feast in the sunshine
He looks pretty mellow! That warm sunshine could be a factor too!!
He's not getting much exercise eating them that way. He needs his belly cruncher exercises! :-)
I need to brace my self for the Influx of the Squirrel which will begin very soon . . . We are encouraging our population to move to Texas . . .
Morning Tex. Oh what a terribly hard life the little critter has:) B
simply beautifully captured shots...lovely!
That looks like one well-fed squirrel!
If that was yesterday, I know he was enjoying the sunshine on his little body along with the feast of sunflower seeds!! blessings ~ tanna
Sunflower seeds won't attract them enough here, so we're going all out and buying dried corn cobs from our friend the farmer. He says he'll set some aside for us this fall and then I plan find a dead branch to serve as a stake, stick on a corn cob like my mom does and wait for the little cuties to appear. I just want one faithful squirrel... that's all I'm asking!
It's the best kind of high!
As Elmer Fudd would say "Rascally Tree Rat".
Hi Tex, As always, a great series of photos! I think these "series photos" are your specialty! Thank you for stopping by John's Island and your comments. So far, you are the only one who has voted for one of the dahlia photos! Luv it and thanks! Hope you have a great weekend. John PS I was in Texas visiting family for a few days (near Houston). Gotta luv the Lone Star State!
Mogłabym się na nią patrzeć i patrzeć. Jest śliczna. Pozdrawiam.I could look at it and see. It is beautiful. Yours.
Glorious image series showing with a small "squirrel" :) Hanne Bente
love that pretty, fluffy tail, hanging over the bird bath feeder.he has beautiful coloring and appears to be enjoying the meal you have provided!!
so cute Theresa, what a series of himhave a good sunday
some one said something about drinking wine - that would be scary with a squirrel & wine??! iffy situation indeed. ( :
You sure treat your guests to the Ranch nice. Even serving their meals in bowls big enough to sit in! No body goes away hungry around your place!
his little belly is so red compared to ours. :)
It appears he's claimed his spot!
What a cute little guy, and looks like he was enjoying both the sunflower seeds and that ray of sunshine! Happy Saturday
Life is good. ;-)
Looks like he's smiling in that 4th pic! Happy Weekend:@)
He's a hungry little fellowand if he's not careful willbe a very fat little fellow!!Lovely set of photos Teresax
I'm so glad you actually like the squirrels. So many people (including my present roommate) hate them and try to run them away from the bird feeders. I say there should be food for all!
To be so pesky, squirrels sure are cute!Enjoy your Saturday.
Right at home. Our dogs and squirrels play the hunt and hide game for pecans.
So cute! I love photographing squirrels because they are always so full of personality.
He is so cute!!
He looks all warm in the sunlight. Very cute photos.
die zijn wel heel erg lekker.
He looks like he's enjoying that.
Ahhh, a nice meal in the warm sunshine. Other than a nice cold drink, what could one ask for?
What a gutsy! He's an interesting colour. A distant cousin is on my blog today!
Great shots of him having a feast!
Cute and see you have sunshine.
A fed squirrel is a happy squirrel..
A fine shot of these smart little creatures. Last night I spilled about half a handful of peanuts on the rug by my chair...so I pick up the rug with the nuts and took it to the front door. Remembering that these nuts have some salt, I threw them into a dense evergreen where I thought the squirrels would not find them. WRONG...this morning they spotted them right off and were crawling all over the evergreen seeking a nut or two. I threw out some non-salted, in-the-shell to try to distract them, but it didn't work very well. :-)
We get upset with the little beggars when they monopolize the bird feeder, spring, summer and fall. But in the winter when the view is bleak, they are out there, romping around, playing games and somehow, then, we don't get nearly so angry with them. We watch them tear around, and what birds there are, don't even seem to mind them that much. Jo, Stella and Zkhat
Looks like a well fed squirrel
bet his digestion is great!...:)JP
Did you say SQUIRREL! Let me at him! Have a super Saturday.Best wishes Molly
Aren't they the most fun [and magnificent] critters to watch? Super images.

What a cute little guy! I like feeding them. What the heck, they steal anyway. Our squirrels have come out of hibernation with the warm spell. Cold again, and they will go down again soon! The red squirrels are tough and don't snooze.Cheers from Cottage Country!
Loved watching the squirrels in the feeder except the little pigs keep the birds away!
He looks like a happy squirrel. By the way, I'm back on Rubbish. Not a fan of Wordpress. ;(
I thought the same thing Inger said. It looks like he/she is smiling in one of the photos.
Greedy little guy. Mine spend so much time trying to figure out how they can fly off the branches over to the feeders. Occasionally they make it! Little rascals. There is enough on the ground from the birds tossing out what they don't like. Guess the squirrels don't like it either! LOL
Certainly was enjoying the meal!
lovely Fly on green leaf
