A Run*A*Round View

This was at sunset one evening in January, compliments of my cell phone.

Yes, this is just the reflection part - I upside-downed the photo. :)

(Those metal trash cans are filled with scratch feed, mixed bird seed and sunflower seed, ready for the feeders.)

Cell phones are going to beat cameras all to heck someday. I got a new Samsung in January and I'm finding out that the pics it takes are better than my camera for sure. Very pretty shot.

Awesome reflections. I need some big cans like that. The birds are very hungry these days.

Btw, I switched to Feedly. The Old Reader finally accepted my xml file for my subscriptions, but it says there are 3,998 people in the que ahead of me. Yesterday it said 400 people were ahead of me, so this morning I expected it to be done or have a lower number, not a higher one. Who's got time for that? Not me!

Beautiful ranch house!

Genie Robinson said...

Maybe we could get trash cans like these for the bird seed. Our problem is the varmints turn over everything we try - even when tied down - and then we have an expensive mess. Right now it is all in the house, and it is attracting the indoor farmhouse critters we do NOT like. The view from the top of the house must be heavenly. Take a picture from up these for me and post it. Liked your idea of the "doggie cattle guard". Pretty clever. genie
