Morning, that was wonderful, fun to see all the differant birds at your feedes and pond.......great pictures, Francine.

Top photo: The cardinals look a bit aggressive. My son Karl's favorite bird.

Bird Feeder: We have legions of squirrels in our neighborhood in St. Paul. We have one feeder that foils squirrels but would like more. Does this one do the job of not allowing the squirrels free snacks, I wonder?

Janey and Co. said...

We have a Northern Flicker that nests in the eaves of our log cabin in Colorado. They are a larger bird than I would have thought. Great bird shots!

There is hope for spring, the light has returned. I'm not so active with photography right now, but the desire comes with the light. Have a nice day / brita

Don't know why they are "dump" shots, they look fine to me. Always good to see the size comparison there between the egrets.

The birds are beautiful!!

Cardinals are always one of my favorites but you got beautiful shots of all of them. I love that God created such a variety and didn't make them all cookie-cutter. Do your crows grow to a fairly large size? Ours in this area are lots bigger than I ever thought they would grow.

Flickers!!! i was going to ask if you had Flicker visitors. There's a couple that visits here for part of the year. They used to stay in the limb of a tree right outside my house - BUT - the limb finally rotted right off the tree . . . I worried about those beautiful birds - The last couple of years - for some wonderful reason - they make themselves visible along the little walk i take to catch the bus - it's kinda woodsy - i call the little walk "The Magical Way" - and, these lovelies certainly make it so . . AND - Golly i love the crow . . . Thank You!!!
