January Skyscapes

Straight out of cell phone, again.
Gem and Zim in the front hay pasture.

A flock of pelicans flies overhead (this is what happens when you zoom in with a cell phone).

An evening sunset over the back pasture after a bit of rain.

Night falls over the barn roof.

Oh an evening sunset to savor for sure. A flock of PELICANS did you say ... oh that would amaze me.
Yesterday snow here again, spent time trying to appease our terrier by crocheting her a sweater as she was chilly in our big old farm house ...hmm as you see by my post my measurements were a bit off. But made for cute doggy photos all the same ;)

The skies are beautiful and I never cease to be amazed and impressed with the quality of photos that cell phones can take.

Do the Pelicans ever come down into your pond? Maybe they were coming home to Minniesnowda for the summer. People don't always think we have Pelicans but we do. We even have towns and lakes named after them (Pelican Rapids for one)

All your pics were wonderful today and we thank you!

Dearest Theresa,
Do you realize how rich and blessed you are with your eye for beauty around you? Most people never even will notice all those beautiful details that do surround our daily existence on this planet. We live under the same skies, breath the same air, feel the same winds and sun rays yet very few know how to HOLD on to it a bit longer. Making poetry; even with a cell phone!
Hugs to you,
Mariette
