Winter Pond Views I

From January. We're beginning to green up now, so I better hurry up and share these beautiful browns and blues!
A mallard drake stirs up some ripples.

His exit stirs up even more.

Those ripples travel across the whole pond.

I am so looking forward to some colorful reflections. The browns make a nice backdrop for the duck, that green is such an interesting color the way it shimmers.

It is so peaceful to watch water birds paddle around and see their tiny wake ripple out thru the water. It is a great stress reliever.
