A Mess O' Ducks

A mixed bunch of Black-Bellied Whistling Ducks, Gadwalls, and a few Northern Shovelers on the pond in March.

The branch that's curved across two stumps is so cool. Did it just end up like that or was it placed there? Makes for some nice photography. Your pond is quite the duck haven.

That's what you call Ducks Unlimited.

In Canada, we hace a conservation organization called Ducks Unlimited who works toward conservation and reparation of wet land for ducks and marshland birds.

They must entertain you for hours.

I was thinking how noisy it was around here with several house finches and house sparrows young making their food demands. I imagine you have quite a bit of noise with all these characters.
