Green-Winged Teal

Last week, I showed you a few Blue-Winged Teal duck visitors. We had a Green-Winged Teal drake stop by, as well.
Pretty green stripe!

And sometimes the head just looks a dark brown.


Alongside a whistling duck.

And the light catches that pretty stripe, again.


Such a beautiful duck!

Beautiful as always! Love that gorgeous stripe, and the Whistler's pose.. sweet! We had some teals at one of our ponds several weeks ago. I didn't know they were teals until I saw my (very blurry.. lol) pics. Ducks rock! -Tammy

So sad once can never imagine having loss their children to die.

My prayers go to those parents and families.

Hi Theresa, Yes, my thoughts and prayers are with Oklahomans and all who have been affected by the tornado outbreak. The Green Teal Ducks are just elegant! I have only seen just a few, and those were in TN. Have a super nice Wed. tomorrow!

What a nice looking visitor to the pond was the Green Teal Duck.

Prayers and thoughts are much needed for the folks in Oklahoma! Tragic loss of life along with whole neighborhoods of lost homes! Sunday and Monday of tornadoes in central Oklahoma has taken a heavy toll!

Oh, I love that green streak on this duck's head. It makes him very attractive. I think I want to be a duck and just float on the water all day long just having fun, being admired by other ducks.
