Haha, so acrobatic! happy monday to you too! :)
A circus worthy squirrel to be sure. :)xo Catherine
Fun and then some! That varmint seems to be in great shape. I wonder what you feed him/her?? I just got myself a squirrel proof feeder although we have no squirrels here. At east it will keep the possums out.
You started my morning off with a chuckle. Thank you!
You made me smile on a Monday morning. Thanks!
Ha ha, look at that chunky belly too!
Isn't it funny that they go for the "squirrel proof" challenges? I finally bought thistle seed instead of the song bird mix. I'm tired of the rascals overturning the feeders.
Ilove his technique and form. I'd give him a 10!
He sure is determined! :)
I will give them badges for PERSISTENCE!
Happy Monday Tex... I am not sure about anyone else but I found it exciting:) B
I hate to think what would happen if I ate upside down, ha, ha. xo Jenny
Made me smile
I wish I could not relate to the "binging" varmit... but after a weekend in Austin... well, I must confess I do. LOL! blessings ~ tanna
To you, it is nothing ordinary. But it seems to be such an exciting moment to the squirrel.
they always make me smile! i am wondering how they eat upside down. we watched one racing across the power lines yesterday at full warp speed and i wondered if they ever fall off....
haha they are so cute with their shenanigans!
Ha,ha,ha, a squirrel hanging out with the feeder. He has to find himself some more animated partner to hang out with.Have a great week.Hugs, JB
They make me smile when it happens to YOU! I laughed out loud at a couple of those, Tex. Thanks for the Monday humor. :-)
Great image series you show with a cute little squirrel :)
Haha...I took my feeder down because of our yard varmit that kept raiding it! Just have a thisle sock for the finchs for the summer.
I just love those great gripper feet. I wish I could do that. Happy Monday to you too.
HaHa too funny
But they are so cute!
I love these little guys!
Those little burgers!! they can get into anything and everything that has food for birds!! My uncle had two feeders - one for the squirrels and one for the birds. They were on the deck outside of a big picture window where he could sit in his big overstuffed chair and watch. He was an electrician and wired the bird feeder so that he could "zap" it, if a squirrel got on. It would take just a couple of zaps & the squirrels learned very quickly which was the GOOD feeder and which one to stay away from. Every once in awhile a stray squirrel or young squirrels would venture onto the bird feeder and ZAP!! YES - a squirrel proof feeder!!
His acrobatics are so funny; well worth the price of admission (all that birdseed).
You have quite the VARMITS in your corner of the world:))
Gotta give em points for clever!
Sure glad I don't have to work that hard for my food....great shots!!
Yup, just another varmint hanging around, :) Francine.
Well that one sure is fat and sassy. Thank goodness we don't have them varmints out here----so far anyway. at least I haven't seen any---only at the big city parks. MB
He's hanging on for dear life !!! Lol have a wonderful Monday !
wat een acrobaat.
Looks like nothing changed from when I left a couple months ago.
If you're going to be a bingeing varmint, you might as well be a cute one!Pearl
I think that little guy spends more time upside down than right side up! Love these!
Isn't it something how they hang on that feeder? The same thing happens here. I have two other feeders of different shapes, but the squirrels are upside-down most of the time.
I guess he's using his tail to keep his balance. What an acrobat!
Nice action by the squirrel!
I wish I was that good with my feet!
He has great form! LOL
They're amazing little acrobats, aren't they? And so entertaining. :)
I still say these little guys know how to live! We should all be so lucky to move about and have a day as a squirrel, but watch out for the dogs and puddy cats!
Hhahahaahaha...so cute !!!...x !!
So cute and so determined! It's like he's swinging in the air, ready to jump on the flying trapeze! :-)
Great way to start my day love it.. thanks for that...
Great photos, photo 3 is my favorite.Regards, Irma
They are relentless, aren't they? That's probably a squirrel-proof feeder that he is determined to infiltrate. Makes for some cool shots though.
The athletic ability of these little animals is amazing. They will go to every possible avenue to get something to eat. Very good shots of this one.
Beautiful photos, I had to laugh at your comment :-)
Unbelievable Tex, Now seeing them so much in your garden. They remind me of the vervet monkeys that would get into our houses and steal fruit ..or anything they could get.Are they agressive!
That's some squirrely (and hungry) acrobatics, there.
He's so cute!!! I fed mine this morning and they were chasing each other around the tree, always entertaining! The young ones around here are so sweet.:)
Love this little guy, quite the acrobat. Brought a smile to my grumpy face today.Felicia
You just gotta laugh at their shenanigans! Pesky little critters are just too cute.
They are insatiable! I'm tired of filling the feeders every day, there's nothing left for the birds!
Sure wish I was that limber!
Not much left in that feeder. I bet you literally go through tons of seed.
Excellent, I like that squirrel as a trapeze artist, beautiful photos!
I don't know how they can eat upside down!
Ah - a very cute and acrobatic varmint!
Something is wrong with that squirrel!
T, too cute!
Whaaaaaahahahahahaha .... what a great photo!!This really super. how nice that you saw this!I think the squirrel all so cute and these pictures I really schittrend hahahahaha .... thank you.
Cute shots of your varmint! you just got to love them!
The squirrel is so darn cute!
Your beautiful pictures are proof that few creatures will work as hard for a meal as a squirrel.
The "splatted" views make me smile as does your post title. Sometimes post subjects just dry up, don't they? Luckily, something always comes along to jog the camera.
Those back legs are powerful, lovely varmint.
What a funny one, you have always good shows to look at, still no internet....
What a squirrel..I love that ones...
How is the world do they swallow upside down? Amazing!
Looks like he was hungry! Squirrels are so amusing.
Whew! I saw "bingeing varmint" and thought you'd caught me red-handed with the strawberry shortcake. Love you squirrel.
I come from performing artist people.Dad, musician - played for Barnum when Merle Evans was still the director (considered 'the good ole days)- Mom - acrobat - Until now i never realized the flying people - (trapeze, especially - also high wire) learned their skills by watching squirrels. mystery solved.love & love,-g-
SON MUY INTRÉPIDAS LAS ARDILLAS. EXCELENTE FOTOS.UN ABRAZO
Think he must be an Australian!!
haha. Adorable and very persistent.. ;-)))
they are so smart at getting to the food. you cant help but like them.peter
Squirrels are such acrobats. I was so happy to see three Whistlers at the stock tank this afternoon. My silly little camera couldn't snap a picture of them.
Very cute!!Made me smile!!!Great shots!Dimi..
uh-oh! What strength they display in their legs
Those little varmints crack me up! I don't know how they can eat upside down though!
I'd laugh if one of those little suckers got stuck like that! Too bad you can't flip a switch and send some electricity to the feeder. :-)
Great shots, love the acrobatics.
So cute!Great shots!
He does not mind being upside, has a good appetite :))Good night. TeresaA kiss.
Those long haired rats can sure raise havoc on the bird feeders :)
I know they're trouble, but I love the squirrels! (Make that... the ones in your yard:@)
i would award him a perfect "10"!!straight legs, toes are pointed and i see perfect form....yep, it's a 10!!
He has to swallow UP?
Hi Tex, Perfect series to go in dictionary next to "squirrelly"! John
He's working very hard for this lunch!
Don't you just love it! Crazy little critters, and so cute! :-)
Ha, looks like he is hanging on for dear life and doing some serious munching.
He looks like he is manhandling the birdfeeder and is just going to carry it with him.
Wonder if squirrels ever get headaches from hanging upside down?
There's some hard work getting done!
These photos always make me smile. We don't have squirrels here in the desert. So I always enjoy seeing themhere on your blog. Hugs~
But such an elegant pose!
I would probably do the same thing if someone put all of my food in a foolproof cage! (I think I just came up with a new weight loss plan.)
Such the acrobat.
They are amazing!
Ringling Brothers Circus needs him!
They work so hard at the feeders.. and they look so darned cute. Gotta love the little bastids!
Dearest Theresa,But they do work hard for their seeds!Hugs,Mariette
I love squirrels! Look at those tiny ears and that sweet little face! How can you resist feeding him? I love how he hangs by his toes. xx
What an acrobate! Love him!
Pesky bugger! That's quite a comical capture!
What a character! He loves his food!
Dearest Theresa,Oh, lovely upside-down acrobatic pose, I smiled a lot (*^_^*)Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan to my American photographer friend, xoxo Miyako*
He behaves likw his Virginia cousins.. Anything for a meal.
Oh, those things crack me up!
He should watch his backside! Some bluejay or something is going to come divebomb him off that feeder, and that would be a hoot!
Hard not to think of the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons when I see this guy! :)
Amazing how tall they can be them creatures, great photos.
That so darn cute! A pain in the rear for you, but still very cute.
All I can do is laugh...
Looks like he is in training for an Olympic event, LOL.
What? It's always exciting. He's got some crazy skills!
These guys just never give up, do they??
omg, he's so very funny!love those rascals!
lol! what they won't do for a snack!
Such wonderful shots!! I know they are a pest, but I can't help but smile when you post these pics. Cheeky critters!!
Looks like this squirrel has created his own Cirque De Soleil show:) Definitely should try out if he hasn't already:)
