The way he is looking at you makes me think of the sone..Don't Fence Me In. Those guys send fear in me to the core. Yep, Beth and I had boogles of fun. We are going to do it again here in Lex with Stonewall Jackson and Robert E Lee. genie

I'm glad he's fenced in, Tex. He looks handsome but also all business! :-)

Hi Tex, This guy seems to be saying ... Hmmm, Who is that getting so close to snap my picture? :-) I trust the car was close by. Nice shots! (And thanks for the info requested! See, the term meme is a new one for me, and that alone will set me in the right direction. Then aruraljournal is a great source too. Thank you again.) John

He looks like he is in CHARGE all right.

Not too much inbetween him and that fence. To him a wee shock is nothing to compare to him the BEAST. Who can toss you 20 feet high with those horns.

Excellet pictures little lady. Back up very slowly.

I love your friend -- but would want him on the other side of the fence from me!

I like the move in closer and closer. He's beautiful animal. The fence looks too open to keep him in if he wanted a greener pasture! Very nice post!

He IS handsome, but Brahmas are just so different from most of the cattle we're used to seeing. I think I'd stay on my side of the fence. :)

Funny how many animals don't know how easy it would be to get past the fence. (We won't count your crafty horses in that bunch)Good thing for you he has respect for the wire.

Oh he may be a bad boy, but gosh darn he's so cute. Still to this day I wish they were more adaptable but friendship we'll never get, and I still remember how fast my grandfather ran after me when I was rather young and tagging along one feeding day! But grandpa can't I just pet one???

Candy C. said...

I always like seeing the Brahmas, they remind me of Nubian goats with those ears! LOL!!

Sandra Wilkes said...

It has been a looooong time since I've seen one of these bulls. Thanks.

Julia said...

He sure is different than Big Boy our huge Holstein breeding bull that I raised from new born. He's rather aggressive when not happy.

I think that he is behind an electric fence which is a good thing even though the breed less temperamental.

I've read up on the Brahman bulls and they are just an amazing animal with quite a history. So interesting to find out about them and how resilient they are. Thanks.
Hugs,
JB

These critters certainly have a different look than we're used to.

Rose said...

He is quite the handsome fellow!

Chris Rohrer said...

Put a bird on the fence and it makes it so much better;) I'd put the Blue Grosbeak.

Sandy Carlson said...

He looks like he's humorous by staying behind that fence!

Barb Brookbank said...

That is one crazy looking animal!

Paula said...

I wouldn't be afraid of the beautiful creature unless I had been feeding him cubes and didn't have any left. lol

Gail said...

That is one impressive gentleman.

When rodeos were new for me, these were the prime breed to buck out.

Stephanie said...

He is a handsome big boy!

petspeopleandlife said...

That is a serious looking bull of good pedigree. Nice to know that he has what appears to be a good fence to keep him and people safe.

Faye said...

And he says, "TWG, you expectin' me to move? Not a chance!"

Hanne Bente said...

Beautiful pictures you show :)

Brian King said...

A fantastic looking bull! These and longhorns are my favorites.

Ginger said...

Oh yeah! Likin" the bull!

MyMaracas said...

I'm gonna need a bigger fence.

Robin Lamb said...

T, what a beauty! He sure had his eye on you!

Montanagirl said...

I'm feeling a little intimidated by him! lol

oldmanlincoln said...

I think it is funny that the bull knows people looking at him at afraid of him. I bet his owner can walk right up to him without any problems.

Michaele said...

I just love him! Bet he isn't as mean as he looks.

Chatty Crone said...

How handsome he is. sandie

Liz Needle said...

What a fine looking fellow. Brahman's are such an exotic looking breed.

pattisjarrett said...

He is quite a distinctive-looking fellow.

Lynda said...

He is handsome but also a bit intimidating. Did I tell you my grandpa had a dairy farm in upstate NY? The bull was always stanchioned in a separate area from the cows. Grandpa would warn us to stay away from him - - - but we used to see who could get the closest to the bull's head before he threw his face up at us trying to toss us - - which he couldn't do since he was secure. We were not mean - - just looking for something to do sometimes.

Paul said...

What a nice gentle looking fellow... Parker would love him. Ha ha!

Helma said...

We do not see this kind of bulls but here's why I'm so pleased with pictures of animals from other continents :-) Beautiful bull indeed.
