Scissor-Tailed Flycatcher

A few shots taken from my car (aiming my point-and-shoot across and through the passenger side window). Not the best of shots, but this cutie decided to pose for me as I drove down our driveway one day.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. :)

Linda said...

What a pretty bird. That tail looks way too big for him. When we were in the Smokies recently, a bird flew by that Doug said was a flycatcher. I didn't get a good look, but I thought I saw a bit of orange on it. Not sure if it was a scissor-tail, though.
