Serving them up on a platter for lunch? Pretty.

That's a busy birdfeeder! Great pictures!
A very good and happy Wednesday to you!
What ballet presentation was this . . .
Fun! At times it looked like a four legged duck!
*hehe* Make room for the little guy! :D
Pretty! I love the color of their bills.
They are so cute!!
That feeder appears to get a lot of action!xo Catherine
What inquisitive cuties! As usual, they make me smile. :-)
Had to come and see my Whistlers. I am glad you are posting lots of pictures, its the only way I get to see these ducks.
Is it that dry in TX already. "Please fill our birdbath."
Love the photos where one is looking right and the other left. Made me smile on a snowy May 1st!
Your photos are always so very clear. Beautiful shots, too!
We too were going to say those pix are so clear. Nice shots we enjoyed those. Have a wonderful Wednesday.Best wishes Molly
fancy profiles, pretty pink feet and beautiful butts..
Definitely Kodak moments!!
Photogenic and they seem to not be camera shy in the least. I believe they enjoy being the center of attention!
Out of National Geographic or did they really come from the Round Ranch?
Wow. These are awesome! Love seeing the little bird; and the whistlers didn't even pay attention. :)
You always catch them !
I do believe that you should make a bird book of the birds around your area.Phenomenal photos Tex.. absolutely stunning. How lucky you are. They love your garden.I enjoyed looking at all the photos.... superHappy 1st of may..val.
So glad they didn't shove each other off this time! :)
Two is company but i like the crowd with the third one in. :)
Great series T!
Such fun subjects to photograph! Always seem pretty dang happy!
can't get enough of these guys...
In that one picture when the ducks were still chatting it up at the watering hole, there came a different bird in the background, which is blurry so I am assuming it might've been a hawk. That one duck looked like he was gasping in horror. Made me giggle. Great pictures!!
What did you charge them for this photo shoot? I think you did a wonderful job.
Love those whistlers!! Fun shots!!
they never fail to make me smile
What is it about them they make them so darn cute? You sure caught some great poses, and clearly they are not camera shy!
Brilliant photography of those marvelous ducks. I hope some whistlers stray over to NC.
Excellent shots with impressive clarity. Nice to see them share the feeder. Such sweet ones. :)
You can really see the details of their feathers
Morning, they sure do make one smile......Great pictures of them in the birdbath, to funny, Francine.
Nice that they share with other birds.
They seem to be hanging around waiting for the restaurant to open!! Wonderful sharp images:)
The one duck looks like he's balanced on his tippy toes! LOL! Obviously, they were holding up the line!
what sweet ducks!
You caught an interesting series of attitude and two ducks who apparently get along rather well. Their look is very pretty and you captured that very well.
I was wondering the same thing Nikki/Furry Bottoms was!
What a great series; these fellows/gals sure have priceless expressions.
I never tire of seeing these comical visitors of yours! Nice set of photos!!
I always love when the Whistlers show up on your site! I hadn't noticed that they had that dark stripe down the back of their heads and necks. Just one more thing that makes them the coolest ducks going.
Great captures of these pretty guys!
Hi Tex, I love the way the birds show up right there at the ranch and you share the visits with us! Question for you next time you have a moment: You know how we have Weekend Reflections and SkyWatch Friday and Wednesday Whistlers, etc. Is there a site where one can see all the possible link sites? For example, I wanted to do a post on a collection and wonder if there is a site where collections are the focus? Thanks again for being my mentor on blogging and a loyal follower! :-) Have a great day, John
They always aim to please! Just what is it about them that's so darn cute?
Great photos, super :-)
Are they young? They sure are beautiful! We have plenty of birds like the little black/brown visitor - but nothing like the amazing guests you host. Thanks for sharing your world with us.love & love,-g-
wat een heerlijke serie heb je er van weten te maken.
Made me smile, and I think the cowbird is cute too!
That is quite an abundance of cuteness!!
T, Wow, great shots! What a pair! I like the one with the Cowbird looking up, as if to say, hey, what you doing up here!
Those pictures made my day.. Now I am off with my camera...
busy spot...looks like they could use a napkin or two!!i like the shadows and fake-outs on these!!
I am fascinated by these beauties.
Wonderful photos. Very nice sequence with this pair of ducks in multiple positions!
Na niektórych zdjęciach widać jedną kaczkę na czterech nogach. Bardzo zabawne i świetne zdjęcia. Pozdrawiam. In some photos, you can see one duck standing on four legs. Very funny and great pictures. Yours.
They are cute!
These two should go rent a room, I think. Of course not being a water fowl expert these could be two males or two females, not that I'm judging.
Always room for cuteness :)
There are really cute and they seem to be happy to share. From Findlay
They did lots of nice poses for you!
Happy Wed to you and I enjoyed those beautiful colourful ducks.Great pictures.
It's that white ring around the eye that draws me to these birds, great set of photos.peter
Somewhere out there is a duck who took a picture of you and blogged about it. He/she reported that they finally got a picture of a TexWis!
I can practically hear the whistlers saying "which way did he go, which way did he go?"
They are so Lovely, lucking funny at the same time....great visitors you have
Loving the photos of those cuties. Hugs~
Those Whistlers sure like to pose for you. I overheard some of the staff at the dentist's office talking about some unusual ducks that had been there before. I was wondering if it was Whistlers.
You and Gail of Louisiana make me so envious!! We have friends that are on their way back to Ohio that were in Venis, Florida for the winter and they said they had some whistlers that were blown there during Catrina. Said now they have a flock of about 70 ducks and they LOVE watching them in the evening when they circle around (flying) to collect everyone and then land somewhere for the night. I want to see some whistlers one day!! LOVELY pictures!!
These photos tell a wonderful story. The whistlers' feathers look so soft!
EN MI REGIÓN LE LLAMAMOS A ESTAS AVES: PISINGOS. LOS CONOZCO MUY BIEN PORQUE ABUNDAN MUCHOS DONDE VIVO.UN ABRAZO
Great to see them up close, and the shiftings in the colours of the feathers, great photos.
Love their long necks and pretty colors. I also love how they share the food with the starling (?). Birds are so generous. Love birds. xx
the one with their heads going in tow different directions (no. 13) kind of throws you. but even a two-headed whistler is pretty adorable!
Okay...some of these, where both ducks are looking at "us" with one eye made me laugh out loud. Silly, silly creatures how I love you.
Aww, too cute! I love when the other bird decided to join them :)
This is a great set of images. If you scroll through them fast, it's like watching a movie. :) As always, your dialogue adds to the story in pictures.
What great shots! And what a perfect perch. So nice of them to share it with the...starling??? Not sure.
P.S. I'm your newest follower.
Yes!!!I love those birds!!So preety and cute!!Exellent photos Tex!!Dimi..
I always enjoy Whistlers on Wednesdays. Such good shots.
Those Whistlers in the birdbath make me smile! Great shots too!
I wish they would wrap up together with their necks and hug! lol Hey, is that a hawk flying in the back ground?? Hope you beauties stay safe. :)
What a cool pedestal to show off those great photos of the whistlers!
The birds are cute, the narration made me smile :-)
Beauties! But I wonder how much they can mess up the feeder?
I think maybe they were posing :)
I always find myself thinking of the conversation that is going on between the birds, ha,ha,ha. I bet ya that I misquote them a lot. lol. Great shots.Hugs,JB

Wednesday Whistlers! They are so darn cute!
Whistlers and wood ducks below - all so cute! Thanks for coming by. See you in a week or so.
I think it's the white circle around their dark eyes that give them such a sweet, innocent appearance. They're so cute.
The one closest to you was the guard--watching while the other one ate. Maybe the male. They're so sweet looking--and slightly goofy.
Wow! They look like a work of art!
Looks like they stayed there a while...and their visitor didn't rattle them at all. :-)
They really are amazing birds, aren't they?
Theresa: A wonderful camera matched by a wonderful photographer! :)
They do keep careful watch don't they? But they are looking too high, they don't seem to notice the little bird that slipped in.
Great image series you show some incredibly beautiful "ducks" :)
Those ducks allways makes me smile :))
Dearest Theresa,How wonderful sharing the birdbath and feeder♡♡♡ I'm stunned with the SO beautiful pictures, the cute whistlers are lucky being taken pictures by you, if they know p;)Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan to my American photographer friend, xoxo Miyako*
wow! excellently composed images!these birds are soo cute!
Awwww...that last little guy is a cutie! The Whistlers seem to be keeping an eye on that lady with the camera! :)
They are sooooo stinkin' cute!! They always make me smile!! blessings ~ tanna
Wow! You really captured those two.
They're so darn cute; thanks for letting me know that they're still there along with the wood ducks.
Wonderful series...they always make me smile!
Yep, they make me smile too :)
Gotta love those long legged tree ducks. I see that the Cowbird was not fazed by them. They are so brazen. I was trying to see if any of your readers noted the Cowbird. I didn't see that anyone did but I might have missed that. I hand raised a Cowbird ages ago. How crazy was that? I can't even remember who brought that nestling to me.
gorgeous set of images on the ducks. :)
Love them. sandie
You got some really cute shots of those two. Looks like they didn't have anything to do but pose for you. The brown-headed cowbird is handsome, too.
Hahaha Hahaha ... very funny to see how these small ducks or geese use the feeding dish or birdbath. Very nice to see and beautiful animals.
