J'ai observé pas mal de hérons en Bretagne dans les marais salants de Guérande cet été, mais je n'en ai jamais vu avec un tel plumage bleu. Rare et magnifique et puis cette leçon d'équilibre. Tu as dû passer un beau moment. Merci pour ce très beau document. Amitiés.Roger
What a beautiful little Heron... great shots.
Nice bird shots. Only the green of the name is not so clear on my screen. Still like it.
Dearest Theresa,Wow, the gorgeous Green Heron looking down, maybe aiming for the fish!Well, so sorry digress a little today. But I thought the heron had beautiful blue color, purplish around his chest.Haha, we describe traffic "green light" as"blue light". "Lush scenery" as "rich in blue". "green apple" as "blue apple" I found some theories in PC. Thanks a lot for the chance to check(^^;)Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan to my American photographer friend, xoxo Miyako*
PS> I thought it was funny finding the opposite way in English.
A very special series of shots, Theresa. That's a heron we don't have over here. he's very handsome.
It is rare to see Green Heron here, and only in late summer migration. They are awesome.
