Texas is very unique, with all the signage and yard art. I've been seeing horses everywhere lately. The grands have stick horses and I think I might need one.

never have I heard the term 'pipe and sucker rod' interesting. the husband of my Mom's cousin was a farrier, I loved tagging along after him, it wasn't until I was grown that I realized it was skilled profession. Looks like a fine school.

The laser-cut design in just wonderful but I think the big horse above it is overkill. Of course it does draw attention and that's no doubt the idea.

The laser cut design is beautiful

Abraham Lincoln said...

I used to walk behind one of those old plows and watch the robins fly down and pick up the ground worms to eat or to take back to their nestlings. They also had a two row plow but it required two horses to pull and the horses had a workout to pull them. Most farmers fed the horses extra oats and stopped to water them as it was hard work. Tomato planters and tobacco plants looked similar except there was two extra seats behind the main seat where the planters sat to drop the plant in the furrow the planter made with a dollop of water from the water tank the driver's seat was mounted on. I wonder what ever happened to all of that old farm equipment?

I like the fence. There is something really nice about it. I think it is the way the horse is standing so proudly or the details in the actual fence. No matter what it is, I really do like it.

Wonderful wonderful poster to advertise the school!

As always, great signs and fences. Now I like the plow, but some clown put a tractor hitch on it instead of a wooden tongue for horse power.

I hear it is pretty cold around the Run*A*Round Ranch....been awfully cold here today. Ice everywhere...then it melted a bit during the day and the roads will be slick as glass in the morning. Most schools are starting late, thank goodness.
