Neat photos. Seeing ducks on a perch is a rare sight for me.
So, in that second picture is one duck like "whoa" and then in the third all the others are like "WHOA!"
LOL they are quite the circus clowns. Have a fabulous Friday.Best wishes Molly
They look so cute in a row! :-)
Morning, great balancing act, love the reflection in the pond, Blessings Francine.
I've mentioned before, I know, how I love your whistler images. These are not disappointing!!! Great ones once again. I LOVE the first joined by adult.Sending along a Merry Christmas wish to you and your family from Bud and me.
Your faithful Whistlers are beautiful. I like how they blend in the dry grasses. You are going to have more next year to photograph. Hope your day is going smooth.Hugs,JB

I'm smiling at these funny fellas. Love the "ducks in a row" shots and the beautiful reflections.
these guys have their own balance beam and are really good at walking it.
Hi Theresa, Oh those duckies are cute! I like that picture where the adult and only one juvenile are facing the same direction and the other juveniles are facing the opposite way. Fun! Have a great weekend!
These birds are just a hoot (or is it a honk or quack?) to watch. Thanks for the fun. MB
Balancing the Whistlers.
Those whistlers are really true acrobats! So cute!
They're doing very well with the balance thing! I love the photos where they're all in a row. And the reflections are beautiful.
I thought a game of "Last duck standing" would ensue. Yes, I too like that last shot.
I just love those little blue beaked baby whistlers !!See me running to hug em all ...as the fly off into the sunset ~ course I slipped and fell before I got there as I am rather clumsy. Still I love those blue beaked baby whistlers lol
Can't get enough of these. :) So cute!
Love those last shots with them all lined up on the fence!! They are so cute and, no, I can't get enough of them either!! Have a great weekend!

They're so cute lined up on the fence!
Oh my gosh, I love the way they're lined up on the fence. All the youngsters are facing the same way except for the one who is facing the same direction as the parent. Love those shots!!
these are wonderful shots, I like the two that are not participating in the photo shoot line up...little renegades.
Love it.A perfect gift for you would be a one of a kind "duck dynasty" duck caller. My husband ordered one. can't wait to try..
A fine shot of the youthful ducks. I especially like the one with the adult. And the reflection one is a favorite too.
Good to see them all looking so strong!
You've got your ducks all in a row.
LOL Laughing at Lisa!Great shots. :)
smart captures of the ducks in a row! lovely scenes indeed!
Aren't they funny?!
They have a good equilibrium, for ducks ; I'm surprise : we almost never see ducks on narrow fences like that... Very unique shots !
either this is truly getting your ducks in a row or we're in for a wonderful a-cappella concertFelicidades!
I do like the one with young ones and one adult on the rail, super colours. And what a test for them to balance. Cheers, Jean.

The little one's foot must be healing if he can jump up on the fence, here's hoping :) Great, great photos!

When they're in line like this , they make mùe think of music notes!:o)I wish you and your family a Happy Christmas!
Have you thought about the fact that this family of ducks has provided so many of us with various and wonderful wildlife experiences and an insight into the life of Whistler Ducks for months now? Thank you so much for taking the time to capture them growing up.
Oh I love these shots! It's cool to see them in different environments.
Such a cute line-up.
The birds are giving a show. Great pictures.Greetings,Filip
These are hands down the best photos yet. They are by themselves, but especially grouped together like this, pure art!
They look very comfortable on that fence.
Very good balance. I love the still reflections.
Dearest Theresa,Lovely photos of those six juveniles. Guess what? Yesterday I did purchase another heavy bird bath that we can observe from our bay window. You have inspired me by many of your photos and we do have lots of birds too.Hugs,Mariette
It's great to see how they balance on perches...
I just can't get over their adorableness! :)
They look like they've mastered the balancing thingy. It seems like just yesterday they were tiny balls of fluff.
I like the shot also...nice reflections!
You waited till you had all your "ducks" (birds) in a row! A marry Christmas to you:)
Sweet....got your ducks in a row!I do love when they do that.
Perfect captures! What great entertainment this must be for you each day, who needs a tv!

Love that line up on the fence of the young ducks. They are sososo cute. You are very lucky they decided to come back for an extended stay.
They have really long legs, didn't realize that before.
I think it's so funny to see ducks perched on a fence. It just seems goofy with those big webbed feet. But awfully cute.
Wish I had their balance skills, I could use a couple of wings too.
That is a great reflection! Gosh they look cute all lined up!
Love their balancing skills! This is the first place I have ever seen ducks on a fence. Great photos! xo
What amazing balance! They are a flock of acrobats.

Great fence shots and you know why. They include my favorite Whistling Ducks. They are so darn cute! Happy Weekend!
Beautiful whistlers as sitting on the fence.
They have nice legs, these ducks :) Greetings from PolandDamian :-)
They are sooooo cute!
I love these pics! The last one is beautiful. Those ducks are just the best.
What a handsome family. Looks as if they are practicing flying a bit in one of those, but since they disappeared before the ice, guess they already have that skill down!
Beautiful photos! Wishing you joy and peace:-)
Cool reflections and I love the photo that's titled "joined by an adult"
These are great photos! I love the framing and composition of the second last one with all but one of the Whistlers in a row. Thanks for your answer to my last question!
wonder if they feel they have to "tone it down" because elder duck arrived. (just writing that is goofy , , , I've started to laugh already . . grin
They do a great job at balancing :)
hee hee...There are some great comments here! It's as much fun to read the comments as see the photos.«Louis» wonders if in the bird shots you've taken, you've gotten any shots of the Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker that inhabits the halls of Congress?Several can probably been found in Austin, as well...:-)
I know I've said it a bunch of times, but I LOVE these guys! They are looking teenagers now. These are really some nice photos...
i keep waiting for those bills to show some color. maybe you should start a pool. ;)
It looks like they've got the hang of it!
Even if there was any doubt before, it's obvious they're soldier ducks! LOL! Goofballs!
What a great series! I loved seeing them standing all in a row, and the one mimicking the adult.~Lindy
Lol .... seemed very fun to watch as they do their exercises on the edge of the bridge railing :-)
What a hoot! This series made me smile. Thanks for sharing the fun.
Great duck shots . Like them.
Shots like these with them lined up on the 'fence' just cracks me up. Always.
