Wood Rats?
I can remember when I was in my teens and we had rats in the barn and the tack room. CreepyCreepyCREEPY!!!!

Karen S. said...

Now I'm curious to what a wood rat looks like, mostly because I remember first learning about Kangaroo Rats (yikes) on my grandpa's ranch in Arizona. I just know they'll hunt them out. My grandpa's dogs could send them running!

Wonderful pond reflections . . . I must admit, the thought of those doggies with a wood rat in their mouth would have freaked me out. Not about me, I know, I know . . . but please don't show a picture to confirm. Written with a teeny, tiny smile!

Thelma gets reflected.

Jo's World said...

Us town dogs don't get to do things like chase after rats. I think I would like to especially if they squeak as you carry them. Do these wood rats squeak? I have toys with squeakers and I can play with them all day, so if I had a squeaking rat I think I could do the same thing.

I think you are very beautiful, Thelma, and bye for now,

That water just looks so crystal clear--like a mirror. Do they work as a team? The dogs we had when I was a kid definitely worked as a team...if we were walking along the railroad, one would stay on one side of the brushy bank, one would stay on the other, and one would go through the brush to scare out the rabbit!
