Are you kidding me? Not 15 minutes ago I saw one flying low, across the top of the fence line. Yesterday, I spotted one flying high above, also. They've not forgotten where I live but, they will not get another of my girls.

A handsome youngster and wiley at that. Good that he has made it through this unpredictable winter. I haven't seen my Coopers Hawk in days, but I have seen the Sharp Shine. Their endurance is truly being tested up here this year.

Hawks always get my attention, beautiful birds but methinks Bubba might want to be on the lookout!

I had an albino hawk (probably red-tailed since they are the most common here) roost in the trees on a ridge behind my house, such a glorious sight. At the end of the summer it disappeared and never returned.

Nice shots. A small Hawk just flew into the Filbert tree by the deck (where I have all the feeders) but I only got one pic before he disappeared into the Bamboo.

My computer was out for a whole day and night---back now YAY

Nice photos . Papa here took a few photos of a Coopers hawk today sitting in the tree across the street . The temps are warming up some and prey is moving about so we see a lot of prey birds around the valley this time of year . Have a good day !

You need to let this bad boy know he stays away from the Whistlers. Explain that the Whistlers have a big, well organized fan club and he could wind up very unhappy if the went after them!

Those are great pictures of the hawk! Really neat that you were able to focus on it with such clarity.. with the limbs in the way! Alot of times, I can't get my camera to focus if anything's in the way. I especially like the last one.. the way the sun is reflecting in its eye! I just love nature pics... GOOD JOB! :)

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with hawks. I think they are beautiful but they make me nervous...I can just see one deciding to scoop up one of my kitties.
