Thanks for this drawing. I dearly love the goldfinches and enjoy seeing them turn colors as they fatten up in my backyard prior to spring migration.

Your Goldfinch is spectacular. Of course I would love to be entered in your give-away and win this beautiful work of art but I know how expensive it is to mail to Canada so I'll let someone else win.

Wonderful drawing! You are really a big talent!

I would like to be entered if I may too :-)

It is beautiful but I need to decline being entered. Living in an RV allows no additional space for any wall art. I like the idea of give-aways though as I'm always sewing up things or knitting dishrags and have only so much space. I may have to add something like this to my blog.

http://www.fws.gov/duckstamps/2014%20Federal%20Duck%20Stamp%20Contest%20Regulations.pdf

"What can I send to the contest?
A Federal Duck Stamp Contest art
entry consists of a two dimensional
design. The regulations for the contest do not specify a medium. However, only five species of waterfowl are allowed each year for consideration. Judges are instructed to look for scenes depicting live birds in their natural habitat. The
eligible species must be the dominant feature in the design; this means it must be noticeably larger than any other elements you may wish to include such as decoys, dogs, or lighthouses. Judges will also be looking at images that will reproduce well as a stamp."

Seriously.

I am so in need of a beautiful goldfinch. With nearly 50" of snow already and 7-10 more expected today, I don't think the goldfinches will be arriving anytime soon. Besides yours would remain for all to see while the visitors would amble on after dining. So, please, enter me to receive your goldfinch and tale away the dreary days of winter. JB
