One Last Dose of Bubba Squirrel

These were taken last November. I've seen him recently and he HAS slimmed down some in our colder-than-typical Texas winter. (He has a notch in one of his ears so can identify him from the other scamper rats.)

Crumbs, buddy! Crumbs!

I think he's falling into a food coma.

Roly-Poly!

I laughed right out loud at these pictures, Tex. He's definitely a well-endowed bubba! :-)

No doubt he's popular with the ladies:@)
Just got my electric back, it's been out since Wed... ugh.

Dicky Bird said...

The food coma picture could also be a "shame" photos. "Did I eat all that?"

Terri @ Backward B Ranch said...

My gosh- that little guy is such a hoggie hog!

Fireblossom said...

He can't believe he ate the whole thing!

Abraham Lincoln said...

I have never seen a squirrel around here with a black penis. It must be the variety. We have Eastern Gray Squirrels and they all have a reddish penis. A lot of people online call these things a "willy"so you could substitute that for the word penis if you wish.

He certainly looks cute holding his food up.

Oh I want that boy and I would call him Rue ;) He is wonderful and he got that notch from a fellow, or gal Squirrel, they do that...
I have been missing in action, power surges following the ice storm, using my laptop which has battery power if power goes off and use of desk top limited. The other day I was sharing some images and summaries that I help administer for a photo group on Facebook, worked so hard and the power went off, before I could save it. It came back on within 10 minutes and I was so mad.
We have an inch or more of ice covering everything and trees snapped all over the place. I will be sharing hopefully tomorrow.
My Google dilemma still is just that, and I will have to upload my images differently than I have for going on 5 years and still no sound solutions...several others complained of same problems!
Happy weekend my friend.
Give that boy a yam sliced thin and tell him it was from me ;)

Bubba the squirrel is a cutie! I think the squirrel doctors would have told him he needed to slim down anyway. Great shots! Thank for sharing on Saturday's Critters. Have a happy weekend!

Oh my! That little critter looks like he will make it through a long cold winter. ;)

Slimmed down? You certainly know your family of critters.

Lynne said...

Bubba sure has got that roily poly thing going on. Picture five says it all, "whatz you lookin' at me for" and then slips into his "food coma" in the next pic.

I wonder what diet plan he went on . . .

Still looks petty plump to me!

Can't look at this series and not smile. He did look as if he might tip over in the "coma" shot. Cute.

He's not a picky eater.

S. J. Qualls said...

You gotta love a guy who will eat whatever you put in front of him. He doesn't appear picky at all!

Karen S. said...

He really has slimmed down, but he's still really cute, to see him like this! It's when they get themselves into places that they really shouldn't....that's where the trouble begins! He's got that love me look to him though.

A fine series of this over weight squirrel. He's a great looking fellow. The extra fat probably served him well in the cold weather.

I'm glad he's slimmed down a little!
The best bit is that after all the funny photos and the interesting comments, there's an ad at the end of your page for "squirrel removal"!!

Phil Slade said...

No wonder he's been a little overweight with all that seed to see him through the hard times.

Lorilee said...

I will be at war with the squirrel when my peach tree starts bearing. They like to take bites of them before they are even ripe!

Marcoantonio Arellano said...

while writing this comment I'm looking out a window in my study and a relative of your squirrel is playing, hanging from one of my bird feeders. It's not quite as plump as yours but will soon be if he eats all the seed.

And I also had a lovely smile the way you said "falling into a food coma"(*^_^*)

PS>Right after I posted about Kannon, I got a little out of shape (intestines) and pushed myself to see Hina-maturi as we scheduled. Luckily got better and came back form father's service this afternoon. Thank you very much for the sweet hearty comment♡♡♡

Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan to my American photographer friend, xoxo Miyako*
