Love it!!!guess what? My husband spotted an amazon king fisher.we took a picture from a distance with the cell phone. we need to look for it again and take a picture with our camera.the day we don't take our camera with us is the day a amazon king fisher comes flying by.

If I had never seen your blog, I don't know if I would ever have seen this bird - - - who looks painted by hand rather than real - - with the brilliant browns and that "unnatural" color of beak. It looks like something a girl would pick out of a box of 64 Crayolas and that's one reason they are so much fun to view.
