i just love your big old fat gym rat squirrels. the last 3 could be titled Squirrley Rock Climber...
You have to admit they know where the food is, and they're so well fed. Great pics.
So darn cute. I enjoy my squirrels but they make 'feeding the birds' so expensive! :) I buy roasted peanuts in the grocery store deli to supplement, hoping to fill them up so they'll eat less bird seed but once they have their peanut treat they are back at the feeders. Yours are so comical :)
Looks like the squirrels have taken over from the Whistlers. Love seeing the squirrel antics.

It's amazing how well they can cling to slick surfaces and seemly suspend gravity in their ability to get access to the seed. Fine series.
They sure are persistent, aren't they? Quite acrobatic and innovative too, I might add!
Holy pillaging!!!! They come on droves to your place!!!...:)JP
I wonder what your seed bill would be sans squirrels?

That's too funny. Our squirrels do that as well, they are really acrobatic. I never understand how you can eat upside down!
Cool guy - hanging upsidedown!!
Good photos showing the beauty and exquisite detail of the vividness of these squirrels!
I'll bet if they had a screwdriver they could dismantle one of those feeders! We actually saw a squirrel in our yard last week but he didn't hang around. Five months squirrel free and counting! Can you believe that?
I have too many. They can be pest. Digging holes all in the yard.
Smart animals. They will do anything to get food !

Let me get a grip with my hand on this rung right here . . .They have it made at The Ranch . . . Varmints they but fun to watch.
Your squirrels seem red. Ours are gray or black but seem to be the same species. Our red squirrels are smaller, faster, cheekier and are found in more forested areas.
hanging upside down with his feet gripping on to glass/plastic. Pretty agile arent they. It is a shame that they so enjoy stealing the bird food.
They have mastered the art of emptying those feeders!
Looks like there IS such a thing as a free lunch!
What can I say?? The North American Tree Rat is an amazing creature.
It's amazing that they can get a toehold on what seems like nothing at all. ;)

odd they never made a 70's b-movie of giant squirrels terrorizing buildings. they would fit the part.
