Such pretty colors. I just received an invite a couple days ago to drive out to a neighbor's place in the country. They have a pond/slough out there with lots of ducks on it. There's usually Wood Ducks there too! Soooo excited. Love your photos today!

The duck to the right seems to have the more brilliant and highly formed reflection. They make a wonderful subject that requires waiting for the water to settle does, if it ever does! :-)

What beautiful photos of the Wood Duck and Blue-Winged Teals. On FB yesterday I shared what I thought was a pair of Wood Ducks, but something was just not right with the eye coloration. Seems as though nature threw in an eye colour mix up and what I thought to be a female is an immature male, but he has her kind of eye color and not the usual red...got to love nature. Happy Easter Theresa
