The birds know when they have found sanctuary.
Morning Tex these always make me smile. LOVE the last shot. Hug B
Exciting to get them so Close to your house.Great Pictures of my favourites :-)M//
Now that is really something to see. Except for the 'mess' they leave behind. Great captures!
They must have heard about the great margaritas served there.
Still a bit cool that day, huh?
Best ever deck ornaments! :)
Made me think of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds...Love the one legged stance. I wonder if the village would be mad if I built a pond in my back yard. lol
Love the up close shots. One leg is good...lol. Have a great day!
Love those peachy beaks!
I wonder if they consider your property to be their property.
Pretty....except for the "gifts" they leave behind....sorta like the Canada geese around here.... Thankfully they don't perch on our deck rails!
"Look Ma! One hand... er... foot":@)
Just love how these whistlers line up on your porch rail. So charming
There's just some who can and some who cannot . . . stand on one leg. :-)
Hah! I think it's very cool to have them on your deck like that although I presume some hosing may be necessary in the aftermath.
No need to spend lots of money in lawn or deck ornaments when you have Whistlers around. Hugs,JB
You really do have a peanut gallery!I love the way you captured all the shades of brown in the last photo; it nearly glows.
Geweldig ze blijven komen.
Morning, pretty fancy there that one leg pose, show off, Blessings Francine.
I also especially love that last picture. Nice to have some whistlers to enjoy as I begin my travel back home today. Sending you lots of love, Tex. :-)
They seem to make themselves at home. Think they know you give them a handout and a place to stay for a while.
They really are the cutest and such a treat when they stand on one leg.
LOL love the way they have every approach covered just in case. Have a wonderful Wednesday.Best wishes Molly
They are lovely, and soon there will be more!
Lovely pictures! They are really pretty birds.
Beautiful, whistling their hearts out again, love 'em.
that last one thinks he's a flamingo ;)
Do you reckon they'd come right in your front door if you left it open? Oh, you might have to put a pan of feed just inside. Bet they would! lol
It's wonderful to be able to have them so close but then you have to deal with the poop!
Pretty ducks! lovely captures ..
What sweet views !Greetings
they always look soooo happy!!ohhhh wait, they're at your place, they are happy!!The last one, WoW, you should sketch that!!
Pretty soon they'll be moving in.
Cute shots! They must be really loud when they all start whistling.
Love that little bit of tenderness in the 3rd photo and the beautiful "portrait" in the last one.
Now these are the kind of deck visitors I would love to have. I would be so happy!
They have such comical faces. I feel like they could have their own Looney Tunes cartoon!
They look like they're posing for you!
Very elegant! :)

Such interesting birds, love the lat picture especially.
I think you need to heat your railing and then they could put both feet down! LOL
Oh,i love those ducks Tex!!They always make me smile!!Wonderful pictures!!Dimi...
Getting cheeky, aren't they? They are so cool looking.
I think he's giving you a look in the last picture.
Do they all have to be facing in the same direction to be considered properly in a row?
Those photos are gorgeous! A nice reunion!
Hi Theresa, I looks like the babies have grown up. Beautiful silly ducks! Have a fabulously nice day!
Boa tarde, Linda aves bem captadas, a luz e nitidez estão perfeitas. Dia felizaghttp://momentosagomes-ag.blogspot.pt/
This reminds me of a childs tale of the Kings cook, who roasted a duck. The cook had to check that it was good, so he ate one leg. Later, the king wondered why there was only one leg, and the cook said that ducks only had one leg. He took the king at night, to see the ducks, which were sleeping with one leg up. Like the one duck in two of your pictures
I don't know these ducks I'll have to look them up. They are beautiful though
Why would all your beautiful geese, whistlers, ducks even think of coming my way to fly when they know where they have a second home. Your place.boooooooooooo hoooooo
The increase in bird poop, since putting out feeders, is terrible. I can't even imagine the amount you have to deal with. However, your reward in birds and photo opportunities is worth dealing with the unfortunate parts. Happy cleanup!
They are so cute!
Now I'll bet they can make a mess of your deck railings.
Your last photo, almost an "arabesque" as we can't see his other leg!!! Super series once again, their colours are lovely. Cheers. Jean
Ahem... you ducks in the second photo there, you are out of formation. Straighten up!

They're getting closer!!!In the next week or so, they'll be knocking your sliding glass door with their cute little orange duck bills, letting you know it's time for breakfast and for lunch and for dinner and for snack :-}}You've got some "buds" there!!
Have they knocked on the door yet?
Cute, but sometimes ya gotta get off the fence!
Oh My Gosh!So funny!!! They have claimed the deck now.. hahaha!
