They say the shadow length at noon is short in summer months, and long in winter months. These weren't taken at noon...or were they? Just wondering. Beautiful friends roaming and grazing.

Zim and Gem have a great place to roam around and hunt for something to eat. They seem to have winter coats yet, is that right. I didn't know if you climate would be cold enough in winter to cause that change to take place.

Horses are so dear, so good, so beautiful!
Guess what? I saw a blue bird at Kelli's house! It's the first one I've ever seen in Colorado. I took a lame iPhone photo, but still . . . I saw one! I say blue bird instead of bluebird, because I don't know what the actual kind is/was.

Not many leaves on the trees yet. Nice looking animals.

I have given up on trying to understanding the working of the Linky! If the titles are too long I just edit them - it only takes a few seconds. I actually wonder if the differences in the way it world for different people are due to the use of different browsers. Who knows!
