Morning Tex I love them. I also LOVED your Good Fences yesterday. Hug B
They seem to have the run of the pond!
They are so lovely.
Beautiful....I like the 'hidden' effect the weeds in the foreground creates.
It's quite psychedelic!
Colroful is right. Nice reflections, too. I like the effect of the weeds in the foreground.
I have actually always wanted to see a wood duck. I love ducks in general. Great photos my friend :)
Wow; blurry foreground, you showed me another task for me. Haha, I know this is the impossible one but SO you made me curious(*^_^*)Your Wood ducks are lovely♡♡♡Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan to my American photographer friend Theresa, xoxo Miyako*
It's a duck's life! Have a great weekend.

Those wood ducks are so beautiful. And their feathers are a treasure.
i like the last two with the bokey weeds and sharp ducks. they are all beautiful
Beautiful ducks and great reflections!
Nice colors and not as noisy as those whistling birds.
wat ziet het er opeens heel rustig uit bij je?
I always love to see the ranch critters through your eye, Tex. I agree, they are purty. :-)
You always have such great reflections. You're blessed to have such a great pond on your ranch.Happy weekend.
The weeds in the foreground makes these photos feel as though we're hidden away in a blind with you; stalking the wild photograph. The beautiful colours give these pictures a very 'painterly' quality.
wow, what a beautiful feathered friend. seems like it's captured all the basic colors our eyes, my eyes, can conjure up from Nature.'multi-colored dream coat'gracias for sharing and have a wonderful weekend, mi amiga
Pretty reflections and I love the Wood ducks! Happy Weekend!
You always get the best pictures! Oh, to be a duck, floating carefree on a pond....

Beautiful pond, handsome ducks and a great post as always!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
I wouldn't get any work done around your place with all the birds seen on your pond:)
Those are great photos! I love the colorful wood ducks.
Wow! The not-"tack-sharp" focus makes these photos look like paintings!
who needs perfection...not me!! i really like the grass and the refection in the third one is tack-sharp!!awesome series....this is all about the moment, just seeing these wood ducks would make me pee myself!!
I LOVE these! :)
The Wood Ducks are beautiful, but the colour of the water is also amazing. Yep,these are keeper pictures for sure.
Super shots Theresa! I like the reflections on the water too.
Nice that Wood Ducks are not as plentiful as Mallards, or Whistlers in your case or we may become complacent with their beauty.
So pretty and serene.
Beautiful ducks and great colors in the water. The reflection is also superb.Greetings Irma
You managed to get the focus on the ducks despite the weed trying to throw off the focus. I sometimes turn my automatic focus off so I can get the focus where I want it.
Wonderful shots, Tex!
Ah, isn't he lovely?
Perfect way to end the weekLove those ducks.
Love those for the same reason the foreground in contrast to the pond itself and the ducks. Nice one Tex. Have a fabulous Friday.Best wishes Molly
I like that the surrounded are blurred with the duck as the center focus.Have a wonderful weekend.
They are so colorful...I've never seen it in person.... Beautiful reflection...
These are really beautiful!
Hi Tex Beautiful ducks and fantastic reflections. Have a great weekend.
Those ducks really are beautiful!
Very handsome ducks! x
Very pretty duck. Wish my pond was large enough to attract some.
So beautiful and peaceful. Love this!
I agree, Texwis. Sometimes, it's not about the focus but rather about the energy in a photo and these have that in spades. Love those wood ducks!
Always makes me wonder....do they know they can see themselves??!!
Beautiful duck pictures. Wishing more rain for your area soon. We were blessed but you know we will be begging again soon, most probably.
One of the most beautiful species of ducks in the world, second only to the Mandarin!! Well done, Theresa!
Wood ducks are so handsome! I also really like the green reflection in the water.
The males are so pretty! Nice shots!
Wood Ducks are so pretty no matter what. Nice shots and just say you artistically blurred the lines. MB
These are beautiful. Such lovely colors.Have a nice weekend.
I love those bright colors. I have the worst time shooting through weeds and grass and gnarled oak trees. I think these are quite nice.
The graphical pattern of the head of this duck makes quite an effect when it is reflected... What a lovely serie !
Yes focus is a little challenging in this situation.
Very nice. I like number three best.
Wow ... Beautiful reflections Teresa! We are going to Madrid a few days. I'll come back;)good weekend.
T, gorgeous shots! They look so contented!
How in the heck do ya figure the Universe thought up stuff like wood ducks??? Lots of great stuff on this planet - and, thanks to you, i learn about a lot of 'em from your blog.love & love,-g-
I like those pictures , with this green background . Great catch !
The blurred foreground really sets the photos off beautifully.
Such a busy place. Thanks for sending your friend by
What a lovely place, so calm and peaceful.
Even if serendipitous, the photos have turned out to look like paintings and the wood ducks are so colorful and photogenic. Well done!Peace :)
Another another outstanding photographer's work. You no doubt have a super camera and know how to use it. You are one sharp lady. The ducks are so pretty.

Very nice pond.
Aw I sure love that view :) have a great weekend T
Your Wood ducks are beautiful!Interesting pictures!
I've been on edge lately and I know I can count on your soothing pictures to calm my nerves. Thanks.
The green water really sets them off! I meant to tell you how I've coveted getting a photo of a Wood Duck - or maybe I've mentioned it before. Well the other day, I spotted one in a pond off the road we were on, and managed a few shots. I'll have to post a couple someday. He was in there with a male Mallard, and a male Hooded Merganser.
Delicious photos, wonderful reflections and green excellent !
Those ducks are beautiful.
Great shots. The reflections add so much dimension and color to the pond.
BEAUTIFUL photos.. They have me smiling my friend. Hugs~
Aren't they just the greatest looking ducks? Well aside from your Whistlers, of course. ;)
The colors are incredible!! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Theresa, So glad you decided to share these pictures of the beautiful Wood Ducks! Nice pair. Have a really excellent weekend!
You captured them well, even from behind the weeds :)
They know how to spend their day.
These are great shots!
Nice photos! I like the water color! It's similar to the color in some of my Wood Duck photos.
That's what the reeds on "our" Lake do too ...The wind blows a lot out here. but the blurry shots I get are just egrets and geese and grebes. Nowhere near as colorful as your wood ducks.
I love those reflections!
I like the focus. It adds a dreamlike quality to the shots.
Great green water - I have to admit that in some pictures I think the addition of some "weeds" in the foreground adds to the picture - makes them look less of a guide-book sort of shot, and more the sort of thing we normally see.Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Those Wood Ducks are sure colorful and the Run*A*Round pond is a beautiful place for photos of them!
Lovely ducks and reflections! I like their colors :-)
Gorgeous! Love the colors!
These are the best reflection pictures!
Sometimes, you just have to take the photo, tack sharp or not.
Nice reflections..pretty ducks on the pond!
I have trouble with the autofocus, too, in settings like these. Great captures anyway :)
Good or bad, no matter what you feel, they are fun to see. It's a duck explosion around our ponds and lakes right now too!
Great photos! Love these ducks!
Your pics made me feel I was spying on them between the twigs and weeds. They are beautiful birds. :)
lovely photos, the male is so handsome and the female is quietly beautiful
Great series. I love the bright colors of the male.
the wooden ducks are so lovely, theresa! great reflections, too.i love your photographic eye.xo
My camera trapping on the Cabin pond was a complete bust this year. Didn't know why the ducks weren't using it.
Just so beautiful....I wish I could get a chance to even see one up close.
