I think they are SOOO Unique looking!!! Great captures!
Quite an impressive looking insect!
Fascinating up close! And not as scary when you get a good look and see what they really are like.
But what was she accused of doing?
I´m really happy I don´t bump into someting like this in Sweden.
Nice! Look at that coat hanger antenna!
Very impressive from a cell phone! She should get excellent reception with those antennae!
Such good company you had Tex!
Brilliant shots and it is kind of cute. Have a super Saturday.Best wishes Molly
looks like I'm not the only one who needs to shave her legs ;-)pics from your phone? Wow!
Oh she's exquisite - I do love insects :D)
Cell phone cameras! Pretty soon DSLR's will be history.
Wow, those are really great cell phone shots! Very interesting creatures.
Yes, as the others have said, cellphones will soon replace all the other cameras, except those who do it for a profession, I suspect. What a weird creature. I've never seen one before. :-)
I love katydids! I love the sound of them at night. And you're right, that is pretty darn awesome detail for a cell phone camera.
Ohh, so THAT's what a Katydid looks like! Rather prehistoric.
Cool captures of the Katydid! Your cell phone takes awesome photos, the details are amazing..Thank you for linking up to the critter party.. Have a happy weekend!
did katydid sing you a song? the phone really picked up her details... up close she could be in a sci fi movie
That's a lot of cool detail from your "CPC". I guess I didn't realize that's what a Kaydid looks like!
Neat! Cell phone camera shots amazing!
Wow! This is incredible detail.
Wow Theresa, those are great shots. It's unbelievable that your camera takes such close up shots.Curiosity made me look up Katydid on the web but I could be wrong, your photos looks more like a cricket with that long thing on its butts. They get really noisy in August in our area when it's mating season.Have a lovely weekend.Hugs,JB
All dressed up in her Sunday best.
You have a great cell phone camera!P.S., Katy needs to shave her legs!~Lindy

First time to see a Katydid of this color and of course I like the up-close photos
That is amazing detail. You know how they say everything is bigger in Texas, even the Katydids look bigger.
A fascinating creature and your close-ups are remarkable. I know many people are fond of the sound they make but I'm not one of them.
Wow. Your cell phone? These are great.
T, good ones! They sure are unique looking! Ours are bright green!
Great macros! We used to get camel crickets in our basement, very similar looking to this but without the shield. That spike on the end looks the same. Our dog used to try and pick them up and dropped them fast.
Wow. wow, and more wow!!! Incredible Ms. T!!!!
Fascinating little creatures close-up. Excellent macros!
You are SO brave. Macro shots or not. So very brave, my friend. I'd have shot up to the moon myself.
Looks a little prehistoric, great photos.
Amazing pics from a cell phone, Tex!
Absolutely astounding detail, I'd say! Your Katydid had a reproachful expression in her eye. Do you think she objected to having her photo shared with so many admirers? No, surely not :)
Wow that is one scary lady. :P
Awesome closeups of a very cool critter!
Now, that was close !
Amazing detail! They're strange looking creatures, aren' they?

Wow, they're great photos full stop, but for phone pics they are AMAZING! I know it's just an egglaying organ but that sword-like ovipositor at the end makes me a little nervous!
