Good Fences #9

Gratuitous wildflower photos with just a trace of fencery in them. The Indian Blankets aka Firewheels aka Gaillardia Pulchella grow wild in the fields and along the roadways, usually popping up in May in Texas.
Just inside our front gate.

Along the roadside - joined by Brown-Eyed Susans
Just a trace of barbed-wire fence in the back.

Just a proliferation of blooms along the ditch.

And, finally, one last from our place across to the neighbor's field displaying the Indian Paintbrushes last month - just because I like this view so much.
On to the link-up!

1. Link in a post featuring a photo or photos of fences or gates.
2. Link back to Run*A*Round Ranch Report in your post or use the badge code to display the Good Fences button in your post that automatically links back here.
3. If time allows, please visit some of the other participants and comment on their shared posts.

Thank you!

I love these blanket flowers. I rarely see them in such abundance here, though there is one south-facing bank near me that shows them off every year. Not as many as this, though.

Beautiful wildflowers that seed themselves wherever they want to.

A lovely combination of flowers and fences today, and you identified a flower for me. I remember seeing your Indian Blankets/Firewheels in a planter outside one of the visitor centers while driving across country last year. I asked a man behind the desk if he knew what they were. He didn't but I thought they were very pretty and spectacular.

Help ... Your link won't let me link ... it says "Registration Trial expired". You may want to look into that. In the meantime, I love your fence ... fence? what fence ... all flowers and a little bit of fence. If you look at my post, I have too much fence or too many fences. I hope you can get this fixed so I can link, Theresa ... Great post! I love this meme ...

I'm not linking up with you yet because my mind is a bit numb due to my husband's health issues. I looked at your flower fields and remembered the starry sky I saw over Texas a long time ago. Came to the conclusion that it is indeed true: Everything is bigger in Texas. Gorgeous gifts for May!
