Now i've seen everything!
I actually prefer the truck.Wal-Mart is a blight and a pestilence.
I've never seen a Rolls-Royce in a Wal-Mart parking lot before.
They'll be the most pampered shopping bags in the car park!
Oh my! I'm sure they didn't get it for a "roll back" price. There are a lot of trucks in TX.
That's a hoot. Maybe it belongs to Mr Wall?
WOW that Rolls Royce is awesome-looking. Haven't seen one of those around here in years.
It is funny to see a Rolls Royce at Walmart, they are saving their pennies by shopping at Walmart? My son would love that truck! Happy weekend!
i noticed when i would go to Texas on business, around the San Antonio/Kerrville area, their were a lot of suburbans on the road vs any other utility vehicle.
Funny! Looks like that Rolls had its nose somewhere it didn't belong!
You never know who you will run into in Walmart!Believe it or not, a few summers ago...the customer in front of me at Wally World was Ralph Lauren.
We definitely don't see Rolls at the Wally Worlds in MA!
I'd rather go to a feed store than a Walmart any day of the week.
What a find !!! I'm going to be more observant on my next wally trip.
Morning, wow!!! fancy car, love Wally World, congrats, Francine.
i echo Kate's choice of feed store vs walmart. i won't go in there because of the way they treat their employees, more specifically, women
ja maar of je gelukkiger bent als je daar in rijd?
We have a local place where we get the dog's food as well...support your locals is a great thing!!...:)JP
Rolls Royce is awesome-looking.
Dearest Theresa,If they say in Texas is everything bigger; it sure is.Never caught a Rolls Royce at any Wall Mart; great photo! That was a super JIT = Just In Time moment for you to capture this.Hugs and happy weekend.Mariette
Gee whiz, if I'd known you didn't have a Wal-Mart all this time I could have shipped you one! We have far too many, all too close. I'm more of a Target Store girl. I wish I had a Rolls to park there! Hehehehe! Just kidding! I'm a Ford and GM girl all the way.
No Rolls Royce here either - Wausau, Marshfield or Antigo.
hi Wow. a RR at. Walmart! great reflections.
Hmmm. There's a disconnect here. I don't shop at Walmart, but isn't it a cheap discount store? :-)
I'd be in the poor house ~ if I had a Rolls Royce .Actually I drive a 20 year old pick up truck ~ good ole Bestsy Brrmm Brrmmm
Ha! That's some automobile!I do like cars, but not the price tags!My favorite vehicle is a golf cart. Too bad I don't golf.
When I first moved to Dallas back in the day, everyone had pick up trucks and cowboy hats. The cowboy hats have pretty much disappeared except for those real ranchers passing through town and a few holdouts. Miss those hats!
I think that that RR looks totally out of place. I would have stayed there just to see who was driving it and what they bought at WallMart.Have a beautiful weekend.Hugs, JB
LOL well I never. That is a sight. Have a fabulous Friday.Best wishes Molly
HaHa! This photo is about as close as I'll ever come to a Rolls Royce! And parked at a Walmart is pretty funny. I like the Dodge pickup better.
I will take the truck! But make it a FORD.. :)
Somehow, a RR at WW seems a bit jarring.
Both stunning on its own! Great shots
maybe the butler had privileges ..
My mom used to cringe when my step-grandmother would go to K-Mart with her giant diamond ring on her finger, pulling out wads of cash to pay. She was sure it was going to attract a mugger. When my step-grandmother died, her family found out that big diamond ring of hers was fake... Her wealth was all show...which was probably why she always shopped at K-Mart!
No kidding! That's hilarious. :-)
That Rolls is one ugly looking car. The designers sure messed up a good image Rolls once had. Having a Walmart nearby will provide you with a lot of good photo material.
oh my I too have never seen those babes at a Walmart parking lot. I guess now they shop there to save in items there. For the gas is rocking now for even the rich man pockets. So you have to cut corners others ways..We don't have Walmart. They have closed down.
That is hysterical. People never cease to amaze me.
More trucks around these parts as well. Maybe the chauffer borrowed the Rolls. :)
Now my Honda seems so inadequate.
What next? The Rolls heads to the Dollar Tree...
What a special cars, beautifully photographed.Greetings Irma
I don't know if I've ever seen a Rolls Royce. Maybe I should go to Walmart more often.
Fine!!.. Great car.. :-)))
wow a rolls royce....maybe it J R Ewing LOL
hehehe....a wal-mart, you are really moving up!!i say, if your gonna go, go in style ;)
I like the Dodge better. More practical! :)MersadMersad Donko Photography
You are right - that truck wasn't cheap. Not quite the Rolls but...
It is a seemingly an unexpected sight. Perhaps the Rolls Royce broke down and they pulled into the first parking lot they saw.
What a hoot!! Ah, only in Texas!!!
We don't see many Rolls in any parking lot around Altavista, but lots of pick-ups. :-) We do have a Wal-Mart even in small Altavista. My little Vibe would look right puny next to the Rolls.
Nice cars Tex!!I like the Rolls-Royce !!So elegant!!Great photos!!Dimi...
Wally World..whoo hoo! I like that truck..well it's a Dodge, and I am a big Dodge fan.
These are impressive (expansive) car shots. I still by a Starbucks drive through where we see all kinds of cars. An amazing amount of $$ passes the window each day. I'm afraid the Rolls is a little out of my league! ;-)
I never believed in that car, rolls things, it is too flash for me.
Hi Theresa, I once counted 9 Rolls Royces driving past a particular corner where I waited for a public bus on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, CA when I was a teen. That was in a span of only about 10 min., too! Fun picture of an unexpected sight of a Rolls in the Walmart parking lot. Have a super good weekend!
Maybe it's owner is just another Walmartian. MB
Wow love the Roller as we call them overhere in the uk - cute reflection in the mirror - thanks for sharing - Jane UK
The owners of the Rolls probably ran out of "Gray Poupon"
Wha???? A Rolls at Wal-Mart?! That's a sight you don't see often. Well, ever. Not around here anyway.
Must be some oil gal driving her Rolls since hubby has the truck in the field!! Didn't know they still made Rolls!!
Yes, only a Texan would own a Rolls and shop at Wal-Mart. No one in New Jersey even owns a Rolls since Mike Tyson went broke.
Everyone likes a bargain! ;-)
Your town is just now getting it's first WM! That just blows my mind. I figured there was no place left without one. Can't say I've ever noticed a RR anywhere in our town, but RR has a manufacturing site for gas turbine engines in Indianapolis. I have seen a variety of vehicles ranging from a Hummer stretch limo to jacked-up pickup trucks at our WM. :D~Lindy
Wonderful Rolls Royce! I love!
Seriously? A Rolls at Wally World? Was Christie Brinkley driving it? Nothing says redneck like a dually-diesel.
Euhhhh ....... it fits my little car kkleine or 6 times in hahahahaha ... :-) Nice to see these cars
Oh, how very funny! You may be surprised what you find at Wal-Mart!
Nice! I don't know that I've ever seen a Rolls Royce, certainly not at Wal-Mart! They're building a new one at Town Center, not far from us. An exterior upgrade is required for that area, I'll have to get photos when it's done.
I can honestly say I have NEVER seen a Rolls Royce parked in a Wally World parking lot... or any other store's parking lot, for that matter. Only place I've ever seen one here is in a car show.
A Rolls at Wal-Mart...what next.
Rolls Royce but beautiful :-)
Rare sights!Beauties, both.
Wow, what a car. Beautiful. Greetings.
Great photos !!
:-) Your RR is even better than my Citroën today!
We have four WalMarts and I've never seen a Rolls parked at any of them. LOL! I'd take the truck, anyway.
If you can afford a rolls........employ a butler to get your feed. I would.peter
now that is wild. i guess they spent too much on their car - & now has to shop at the Wally mart. too hilarious!! i love it. great times happen at the Walmart. ha. ha!! ( :have a great weekend.
I'll leave the RR, and take the Dodge, fill it up with groceries for at least 3 months!! Maybe those use so much gas, they only drive in about every 6 months or so, or live very close by. Cheers, Jean. p.s. super shiny clean vehicles, no metal roads for them.
Guess those car payments are cutting into their budget?
I'd hate to get the door of my Rolls dinged in the WalMart lot. Actually, I drive a thirteen-year-old Jeep and my husband drives a twelve-year-old pickup.
Great trucks!have a nice weekend!M/
I missed the reflection of the mirror the first time I browsed because I was looking at that expensive car.
We don't have a Wal Mart in downtown Vancouver, and I actually wanted one the other day. I think there's one in North Vancouver and one in Richmond. Had to laugh at the Rolls Royce. Maybe the bargains at Wal Mart are why s/he was able to afford the car of his/her dreams.
I figured there were Whistler ducks hidden in the pictures of these cars but I haven't found them---yet! I hope you have a terrific weekend.
For those who have and those who have a wee bit more..... great topic for the day.
Wow, that is a nice contrast
I've got a feeling there is more to that story.
We see the random Caddie, but mostly we see trucks!Lindahttp://email@example.com
I refuse to go to Walmart these days. They put smaller mom and pop shops out of business and don't pay their employee's a reasonable wage.
Truckin...down to Wally World...keep truckin...
Very nice Rolls, but the truck is way more practical and way more fun I think. You never know what you will see at Wally World. :)
I notice that Rolls found an end spot - I'm surprised it isn't parked diagonally over two spaces... Wonder what's on special that they needed?
Heck yea, I always drive my Rolls Royce to Wally World:@)
I have seen everything now!
I don't think I have ever seen a Rolls Royce in our little town. Just FYI, I would take a truck any day of the week over any car! If I had such an expensive car, I would sell it and buy a truck!
You see everything at Wal Mart!
Congrats on your brand new WalMart. Anytime you desire entertainment you can go there. Before they built our Super WalMart we could see the parking lot from our front door because they were high on one side of the highway and we were high on the other side of the highway. I guess I'm a little teched in the head, I like to go there.
I do prefer the rolls, great reflection from the truck.
I really like your WalMart sightings compared to the People of WalMart sightings! lol I try to stay away from WM myself as I usually have the People of WM sightings at the ones around here! lol
I like them both!
Uh oh -- life as you know it is over, Wally World has come to town! TOO funny that first picture>
Only in Texas! BTW, thanks for fixing my link.
My goodness those are fancy looking vehicles.
Well, we don't have a lot of Rolls Royces here in Fairbanks, so I don't believe I've seen one in the Walmart parking lot. The truck now, that's more like what we see. Trucks and SUVs make up the majority of the vehicles here. I've got to admit we have a fancy truck similar to that one but it's a Ford, and I'd guess the cost is not too different than that Rolls.
I like the truck too.
Maybe this Rolls belongs to the owner?
So sorry to hear about the Walmart.
I'm thinking the Rolls is probably from out of state... If it was from Texas it would have a nice set of steer horns instead of a little RR thingy on top of the hood!
Cool rear view mirror reflection. Sorry to hear about Wal-Mart moving in, they massacre small town businesses.
I still occasionally wear a work-shirt I bought at a Walmart in Toronto. I enjoyed these two photos! I'm curious to know more about your little "one Walmart" town :)
I told my husband about the Rolls; He said that he knows only one person owning it who is the president of the big company here and has driver as well!!! NOT the kind of car to the market, he laughed(*^_^*)He said he loves the truck♡♡♡ I can only differentiate cars with color p;)Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan to my American photographer friend Theresa, xoxo Miyako*
what a great find! love them both. awesome reflections~
Great photos! It has been a very long time since I saw a Rolls, and never in a WalMart parking lot!
I like white ;)
So funny about the Rolls. When we had a Trader Joe's open a few years ago, we could hardly get into the parking lot since it was FULL. All the Lamborghinis, ferraris, porches, Rolls, mazerati's etc…were there for the 2 buck chuck wine!
I can remember literally reeling in shock from the sight of a $10,000.00 price sticker on a new 1977 Corvette at a Chevy dealership. Viva la Texas!
Hopefully that is a UHaul place next door and NOT folks bringing trailers to fill with goods from Wally world. Gave me a chuckle.
A nice Roller Theresa. Don't be shy now, we know it is your shopping trolley.
Fantastic cars! There's a car show every Thursday afternoon here not far from where we live (informal) and I've been meaning to get out there and get some pictures.
I've never seen a Rolls at our Wal-Mart. More likely to see a side mirror being held on with duct tape!
What a find! Wal-Mart has something for everybody I guess.:-) I rarely see Rolls-Royces but the last one I saw was in Dallas.
I'd take the truck over the Roller - but I don't think I'd like the fuel bill for either!Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
"Save Money to Live Better" they say so now you'll be able to save up for your own RR.
it's amazing how many BMW's and Mercades I see at the thrift store...
Seriously a Rolls Royce at WalMart, What were they thinking. I mean so many opportunities for mean spirited people, it's like they were baiting those kind of people. I once parked my new car (which was actually a used Mustang) way away from other cars in a parking lot and someone dumped a Chocolate Milk Shake all over the Vinyl Hood.
My closest Walmart is 35 miles away. Probably wouldn't see fancy cars there either.
