The rust on the truck and barn makes them look more like art than rubbish.
Awww...the truck looks like Tow-mater from Cars.
That is a really nice truck, probably lots of good stuff laying around there.
I agree with Janey!! One person's rubbish is another person's art :)
A nice view, and bittersweet in a way. It makes me think of all the work that truck and those buildings have seen in better days.
This location could be (is) a treasure trove for rubbish Tuesdays. Love that rust!!
And they keep it because....?
That is one cool truck. Lots of goodies in these shots. Had a bit of trouble with my link, but it is finally up and working...I think. lol
a nice old truck..
hey, it's tow-mater!
That truck is nature's work of art.
I'm thinking charming rubbish!!
I love nosey-ing around old abandoned even rusty things. So many stories that they could tell and can't.
There is an air of melancholy about it.
VERY cool rubbish, Tex. I like it. :-)
Oh yeah, I like that!
Great "best rubbish on the way to town" photo . . . Would make a wonderful colored pencil drawing if you knew someone who was into drawing old rusty red trucks! Anyone in mind . . .
I love this. I look for this kind of thing when I am on the road and just out and about!
I love seeing old trucks like this. Nice find, love that top shot.
Bet that old truck was a beauty in it's time! Somebody should plant flowers in the bed! :)
I seen this program where a lady collects rust things and she likes to hang them up outside and in. To be honest. I would leave them as is. I mean if she colored them a tad but these were plain rust, rust bucket looks. Horrid. Oh I see one partly fence good for Thursday good fences. Did you get it first picture all of it?I bet it is nice.
I love that old truck!
Morning, great rubbish, love the old truck, Francine.
you ticked off all my boxes with these, grass, trees, fence post, old buildings, old trucks and lots of rust... but these are not rubbish to me they are beautiful.
A common sight in most rural areas....some are just hidden way off and out of sight. Treasures waiting to be rescued. LOL I love the old truck.
That's great stuff. I would stop there too.
On our farm all the rubbish was set along a line of old white pines. The good old days.
This is such an amazing place, and what fun to romp about gazing at all the stuff here. Funny how other people's rubbish can appear so much more inviting than say the stuff my hubby has in places! Hehehe!
Dearest Theresa,It is a shame that so much is rusting away in rural areas... For WWII ALL scraps of metal got collected and recycled which was a good thing on its own!Hugs,Mariette
I have always liked photographing old rusted out vehicles. I'm sure they'd have a story to tell!
Is that a Texas' answer to the "Pink Flamingo?"
It looks like the truck has grown into the rest of the landscape. :-)
The old truck is really neat!
Neat stuff---better than rubbish. MB
Lovely captures on the abandon things! That’s a pretty rusted vehicle
The truck is a classic ... you have a great eye, Theresa. I have a friend that won prizes on a picture of an old truck, not unlike yours. Great rubbish Post!Andrea @ From The Sol
Beautiful series, the old trick and the old house is amazing.Greetings Irma
Dilapidating things, especially trucks and barns are great photo subjects.
Yes, that definitely is good rubbish. Old fashioned rusting trucks. Lots of them here in the pacific northwest!
Now that's beautiful rubbish :)
Places like this are fun to explore and they make for some great backgrounds for portraits.
This is classic rubbish!!! Blessings, Catherine xo
Your photo's are wonderful; what a capture! T, I believe you find the best things to post! :)
Awesome entry for the meme. Love those rusty old trucks!
You do find the great stuff -- the good, the bad, the ugly that makes for great captures!!
I really like the texture and colors of rusty metal!
Fun shots. There are a lot of rusty trucks here, but probably not as many as in Texas ;-)
That is one well rusted truck. I like the setting of your shots too. Looks good for rubbish day.
Looks like nature is trying to hide all the junk behind a screen of lovely trees. I do like the old truck.
Put it in a museum, great photos.
Very cool truck, Tex!
Bring beauty to the otherwise ugly.
I love the old truck and it would make a great "fort" for kids to play in!
i love this t....what is it about rust that draws us in!!there is a truck by me, that looks exactly like this one. i have lot's of pictures of it!!awesome captures!!

I see someone above thought the same thing I did - that truck looks like "Mater" from the movie Cars! Almost as if it should come to life & start talking. :)
Love these rusty shots!
Ciekawe starocie .Pozdrawiam
What a nice old truck Tex!Great shots and images!Wish you a happy week!Dimi...
die is al even niet meer gebruikt nog even en de natuur neemt hem weer terug.
The truck is not too far gone, we have the technology!
Very old car ... this is the problem of waste around everywhere ...
I love that old place in an irrational way, because I usually hate clutter and waste. But that rusty old truck....almost like an art installation. Perfect for Roan's meme.
It does look like art! ♥ღLindahttp://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com
Out and about today visiting bloggy friends. Hope you and all your sweet critters are doing great!Happy Spring :)misha
There is beauty in that rust!
oh, I love that old truck.
T, lots of interesting stuff there!
There's something artistic in this rubbish
You wonder what goes through people's minds or what doesn't go through their mind when they leave thins to accumulate.
The second one is a statement all in its own! A reminder of a different era...
love the truck and old barn.
Ohhh I love old rusty trucks and building, I always find them interesting and full of stories if they could speak. Great finds T,
Hi Theresa, Yes, you do have interesting sights along some byways there in TX. Have a super good coming week!
Love the truck! Reminds me of Sanford and Son! :-)
That truck still for sale?
Very nice rustees !
The truck is the star!
Yeah... Farmers and ranchers never throw those things away. They just lay where they died.Nice shots!!
My son would love to get his hands on that truck so he could restore it.
That would be a great truck to restore.peter
Wonderful to see such an old truck, but also quite unfortunate that this so stifled as the house.
Cool looking truck:@) The building... not so much...
I like the way you have taken the last shot, it's not so much a junky old vehicle, but something interesting.
Kin d of looks like mine, but red.
It looks like a movie set . . . says a lot about the quality of your photos . . love & love,-g-
My son is really "into" trucks. I should show him this one.. Love the rusty old thing..
LOL, it actually makes a good composition T!
yep, that's some pretty good lookong rubbish.
Love to photography old stuff..Hugs
Nice piece of garden art.
Looks like a place for the American Pickers!
Oh Rubbish! ;)
Great photos of the yard and all those things in it. I always wonder if the people who collected them really did intend to fix them up sometime?
The second photo is my favorite. Very colorful.
Like the truck. When my husband died he had an old Ford pick-up sitting in the back yard that hadn't been driven in years. I thought it would be a problem to get out of there so I sold it for $500. The man tinkered with it for about fifteen minutes and it started right up. Bet I could have got several thousand for it.
I love that truck! Very photogenic...We have an abandoned Model-T car frame nearby. I gaze at it every time I go by, imagining how it ended up sitting in a swamp.
Great looking rubbish, farms seem to wind up with the best rubbish!
Great truck! We have a few rubbishy cars but they are not looking that "good" just yet. :D
Gotta love those old trucks. Great find!
It would be funny if it turned out that the truck was some rare variant of that vehicle and it was really valuable!Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
What an awesome old truck! I pictured it filled with flowers. ;)
The truck alone makes it worth a second look for me. Nice find and photo Theresa!
If only they could talk! xo Karen
Looks ancient, yet interesting.
Oh, wonderful rusty color of old truck and the barn, Theresa♬♬♬ Unique meme to enter!Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan to my American photographer friend, xoxo Miyako*
At some point, an old rusty truck like that ceases to be junk and becomes a work of art. At least to me it does...
Very nice, I would like that truck.
What a neat rusty old truck.
Gosh I love seeing all that rusty stuff!~Lindy
Love the truck. When we were in Bodie Ghost Town we saw so many amazing rusted cars and equipment.
