Good Fences #19

I shared this gate a few years ago, but they've changed it since I first saw it here.

Here's some of their current residents.

And here's the link-up!

1. Link in a post featuring a photo or photos of fences or gates.
2. Link back to Run*A*Round Ranch Report in your post or use the badge code to display the Good Fences button in your post that automatically links back here.
3. If time allows, please visit some of the other participants and comment on their shared posts.
Thank you!

Love the cattle in the shaded area. I'm wondering if this is any relation to the Civil War Meade. Just curious.

Horses on the gate are much more pleasant to the eye than silhouettes of the two states, says this Tennessean. ;)

There is a Belle Meade plantation in Nashville, TN. I've taken the tour a couple of times, as my son lives in the area. It still has bullet holes in the columns from the Civil War. It was originally a cotton farm, but later they added thoroughbred boarding and breeding. Hmm, I'm thinking this ranch was probably named after the plantation. The horses are beautiful and love those gates!

The rearing horses make a very interesting part of the gate. I like how some of the ranches go all out to create unusual gates. Fine shots.

Why did the cows in the last photo make me laugh? Here are horses, free as a bird, independent and mostly singular... and then here are the cows bunched together, timid and dependent on one another. Its amazing!
