I love the hood ornament:@)
Trucking through Texas, I have seen the cow ornaments, and longhorn steers, too. Yep, I think only in Texas. Naturally.
A fun gent for sure.
I bet everybody in Texas is happy after that Cowboy's victory yesterday :)
Those are so cool, and unique! I love the wall art piece!
I love the hood ornament but I see it's rusting the hood. Fun pics. Have a great Monday.
Don't see too many of those in Yorkshire...

Texas is unique and wonderful!
The hood ornament is cute. And I like the friendly gent.
Great pictures of Texas ornaments to show their pride. The nice looking Texas gentleman looks as good or better than the ornaments. lolHugs,JB

Your area is very interesting so I should visit it.
Great that "nice gent" let you snap his pic . . . Looks like he likes PRIORITY al the way around . . .Kinda looks like that guy married to Barbara Streisand!.
There is just no place else on earth that you can see such....it's called Texas Pride!!!
PS....I read Lynne's comment as I was typing mine...and had to go back and look. Yes, he DOES look close to the Brolin dude!!
I can honestly say I have never seen a hood ornament like that one. ;))
Love it. Whimsical stuff and nice people.
Beautiful ornament. This is a friendly guy.
Seems like a nice guy, if a little on the eccentric side. :-)
If I were to live in any other state than my beloved Tennessee it would be Texas for sure. I love how Texas sports it's heritage.
Very nice ornaments!
Always notice hood ornaments but never have seen one like this—great! Love the guy's hat, too.
het lijkt mij wel een levensgenieter
My emblem would sport a sea shell. But that certainly isn't very Minnesota!
Oh, my - I've seen the long horns, and I've seen the heads, but never a whole cow. Looks like a good cowboy!
Texas is awesome! Neat hood ornament!
Wonderfully quirky decorations.
Cool hood ornament!
The Texas horseshoe is cool!
Nice find, TexWisGirl. My emblem would be a nuthatch.~
The hood ornament is cool...looks like it is leaving a rust stain. I assume someone loves what they do...I am taking a break from blogging for a while cause Tootie will be coming. Thought she was coming yesterday, but it is a bank holiday so they are coming today. She is on two weeks break, not sure if it will all be spent here, but this week will probably be pretty well spent here. So just going to visit when I can, but not going to attempt to post...or at least that is the plan now...
Bull! Sorry, I just had to say that. ;-)
Cool hood ornament! Sometimes I think that Texas is like a foreign country. A good foreign country. :-)
Morning, love the Bull hood ornie, only in Texas, star horseshoe rocks!!!!!Blessings Francine.
Interesting hood ornament, no bull ;-)
Cool ornament! I've never seen one like that, but then, I've never been to Texas. :-) We do have cattle farmers, though. Maybe the trend will show up here eventually.
I've seen some trucks around here with whole Longhorn horns on the front of their truck, a little much. The rust on this truck would drive me crazy but it wouldn't bother John any.
Love both ornaments and nice candid shot of the gent.
He seemed very happy to be put in the spotlight.
Love that!Yes, he seems like a happy fella. :)
It's great that he let you take a photo of him. Great shot!MersadMersad Donko Photography
I'll pass on the hood ornament but would like to have the wall ornament, in a smaller size though.
That wall ornament says it all.
As a former native, all I can say is, Ah, only in Texas!! Love it!!
Fine pictures of two great symbols of true Texans. The fellow looks the part with that hat and smile, and the ornament is unmistakable. I spent four years in Texas when in the service and enjoyed every minute of it!
Cool hood ornament, but I really like that wall ornament a lot.
that horseshoe is pretty. every time I watch Shark Tank I think of you because Mark Cuban owns the Mavericks. :)
Say what you like about Texas, they have a way about them that is unique...Noodle and crew
As somebody rightly commented that 'Texas is unique and wonderful' and your pictures will always prove it right.
Hi Theresa, That gent with the cattle sculpture on his hood is nifty! Great sense of pride in what he enjoys. Good for him. The horseshoe and Texas Star are also wonderful decorations. Lone Star state pride is evident! As a former Texas resident (and one of my ancestral relatives was in the Texas Revolution) I know. Have a great coming week!
What a nice smile that guy has. Love the hood ornament.
oh t, he looks just like what i imagined a texas cowboy would look like!!!i like the horse shoe best because it was in a restaurant....hehehe, what!?!have i ever seen a human here??? i don't think so!!

Does this gent know he is now famous?

What a Bulls hood, lol.
Hahahahaha .... great bull on the car. That will not really come across in the Netherlands than in the Rolls Royce and the jaguar:-) Very nice pictures.
I like it, but that bull missing the horns!
Very Texan, and a good portrait of the driver!
Great pictures Tex!The hood ornament is so cute!!Have a lovely week!Dimi...
We live near a military base here in Maryland and you can almost always tell a Texan by his or her vehicle. They all will have a "Cowboys" or a "Lone Star" bumper sticker. One young soldier had a set of Longhorn bull horns hood ornament on his Jeep Cherokee. Yikes.

Are you like me, and can strike up a conversation with a TOTAL stranger? That was how I came to have Eva the Golden Retriever at our place... love that bonnet bull, and the Texas Gent, well he is a very handsome Dude as well. Cheers,Jean

This horseshoe has to give good luck;))Thanks Teresa, for warning that the blog could not. Now you can view photos.kisses.
He looks rightly proud of his ornament!
The bull needs the ranch's brand carved out of it ;-)
Great Texas stuff! I always enjoyed seeing the stars on buildings all over Texas when we lived there. Your PO man looks like a nice guy! :-)

That definitely says Texas. Are you sure you're not doing this just to flirt with cute men? It's giving me all kinds of wild ideas and I fear my camera could get me into a lot of trouble.

Dearest Theresa,A very friendly Texan!Too bad that there is some rust coming from the nuts and bolts it got fastened with onto the hood...Hugs,Mariette
Nice find! The fellow with the Cowboy hat and suntan definitely has that Texan look to him!Just thinking... If Texans put bull ornaments on their hoods why don't West Coasters put Fish emblems on their hoods?
I love the hood ornament. I'd say that was a homemade one. I wonder why they don't put them on cars anymore?
It looks like the bull p'd on the hood and it's rusting. :)
Lovely ornaments! :)
Looks like a good natured "bull" lover guy--LOL! :)
Cool! Would love to visit Texas one day.
Interesting find on the ornaments. The bull is stunning... and gent looks cool
Alas, it looks like the bull couldn't keep holding it, but at least the hood provided good drainage.
Nice ornament - and nice good looking man!
I just took an online quiz that asked where in the US I should live according to my personality etc. Guess what ? Texas popped out. Yeehaaa!
The hood ornament is simple and nice. I don't think I would be crazy about the rust line coming from it on my white vehicle!
I should go hunting for some of those Texas signs that I do see around here from time to time. They surely moved here from Texas I bet. He really looks like a nice friendly Texan!
Ornament is beautiful.
Moo. No where else in the world will you find a state as proud of themselves as TX. Stars are everywhere; I love it!
That is some hood ornament....I love it!
Some day I would like to visit Texas.
What a cool and unique hood ornament! :D I like the wall ornament, too. Lindy
It looks like his bull is rusting on the paint. :-)
