he/she reminds me of a parrot or little bird that folks keep in those decorative cage. so cute. ( :i was just thinking if that is a male than the female must be very very dark - almost invisible.

Years ago we saw Evening Grosbeaks every day. Have not seen them since. Pretty much like this guy except no blue.

Your blue grosbeak is a handsome dude. Sometimes grosbeaks send out a lone scout. If they find a good place others show up the next day.
