So beautiful - and entertaining!
I love your wistlers! :)
What day is it today?... Oh yea, Whistlers on WenesdayNow let see... Oh, I got it. I'll try this pose... nah, that looks too dorky, I need to do a duckey pose. I'll try the stand on one leg pose, nah, too easy. I'll do the stand on one leg and tuck my head in, that ought to do it. That was a real god duckey pose for a Wenesday.Have fun with all your creatures.Hugs,JB
I mean, a real good pose.JB
LOL they do make us smile. Have a wonderful Wednesday.Best wishes Molly
Haha! Gotta keep one foot dry!
I think that was an old radio show"The Lone Whistler"
Hi Theresa, Made my morning! Such fun ducks. Have a really great day today!
Wow, what a poser with one leg♡♡♡Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
lol goofy duck certainly out-goofed him!
vogue, vogue....strike a pose!! madonna...thanks for the ear tick ;)
I just wonder what that whistler is thinking. Maybe, what's that miniature me doing in this birdbath.
I like the "Showing off" shot.
I like the first "asleep" Picture with the eyes closed best. I remember a childs book I read. The cook made a duck for the king, it looked so good he had to taste it, so he had a drumstick. Then when the king wondered where the other leg was, the cook took the king at night to see the one legged ducks, since they sleep on one leg, the king thought the ducks really had only one leg.I'm not implying we should eat your whistlers, they're more like pets and mid week beacons of hope for the weekend!
I didn't know these ducks were "one-leggers", standing on one with one leg up under them....and sleeping too yet!
Just putting on a little show for the host.
Love it - what's a duck to do if not entertain. Very cute.
Beautiful series of photographs of the Whistlers.Very well photographed.
I love that Mohawk. Lovely photos.
oh heaven forbid this is a fantastic series, your photos are stunning!!
HAHA, your photos and remarks are so funny. Love those goofy whistlers! Your photos are outstanding. I can see those whistlers very clearly. Thanks for making me laugh.

Gorgeous bird! I love it when they stand on one leg like that.
Such silly birds!
Definitely strutting his stuff.
You certainly have a knack of capturing their funny side too.
Funny photo story today. The 4th photo looks like he's taking a morning streeetch. Adorable birds and funny photographer.
A couple of cuties for sure :)
You get the most interesting birds at your bird bath!
They are such show offs, but they sure can get away with it. There just so darn cute.
Practicing yoga and looking cute at the same time! :DLindy
Thanks for the giggles to start my day -- a gray, chill rainy one at that!! These guys are priceless -- one-legged or two!!
They are always cheerful to see! ;-)
Please do not try this at home, folks. These birds are highly-trained professionals!`
He looks almost like a statue in the first few shots!
Ale lokal zajęła:)
He is so cute! I get it, he didn't want to be alone and went back to be with the statue and stand on one leg like it was doing. ha ha
Love these, and love the color of their beaks! :)
I would say that Whistler knows you are taking it's picture.
He's washing his feet, how cute is that?
Great shots of this little guy. He is adorable and I love his mohawk. Never noticed those before. They have such great coloring.
hij geeft wel een hele show weg,
Hi Theresa,I notice the little bird has lot less flexibility, compared to the whistler, in spite of its young age :)Nice presentation of the stationary and the mobile!Have a Beautiful Day!Peace :)
Love your Whistlers.
Gorgeous bird ! I love these photos ! Greetings
Click on photo #1, then fast click, almost a movie, goofy is for real a very suitable title. Love those close-ups, a super series altogether. Jean.
Love this series, so cute!
Love the ballet moves, it's like the bird is performing for the camera.
That's so funny. Whistler wants to be star of the bird table too.
Those photos are so cute! I think he's first thinking, 'You call that a bird??!' and then decides that he can stand on one leg too, just like the other bird affixed to the bird bath. 'Take THAT!'
Beautiful birds photos...
Love that fourth shot!
Do you have them on your farm? And how many?
T, I wish I had that kind of balance!
Goofy #1 is definitely s super model!
A happy duck having his bath!So cute!Wonderful pictures Tex!Dimi...
They really are a big duck!
Cute captions, Tex! They are always adorable to me. All they have to do is stand there and I would be happy.. Great shots.
Yes, I like this sequence undoubtedly the source is your home! Sweet pictures!
Ah...the beauty of sunny July. I love October, but I'm going to miss the sun when it's gone in a month or two!
Ha! Nice shots! They've both perfected the one leg stand! I like the drop of water on the bill of #1.
Doing a little dance ?
Does it take Tai Chi?...:)JP
Looks like yoga for ducks:@)
Tex, your birds photos are always gorgeous!
They are having much fun at the water hole! Cute ducks
Not so daffy if what he's really doing is regulating body temperature.
What great balance!
Have you ever thought about a feature where you challenge your viewers to write captions for some of your pictures? It might be fun.
Really enjoyed the photos! That last one reminds me of when we used to have competitions to see who could stand on one leg the longest--fun! Looks like they really enjoy the birdbath!
That's a hoot. Rather, a quack, I guess.
I was laughing before I got to goofy duck, and then I totally lost it. They are so funny! And your photos of them are always priceless.
Evening, made my day, LOL. such wonderful pictures of that wacky ducky. Blessings Francine.

Dearest Theresa,Your feed is giving them perfect looking, healthy feathers!Hugs,Mariette
Oh, goodness! Call me a city girl but what sort of duck is this? His eyes remind me of my parrot!! :)Jane xxx
Ha ha, your commentary on these pictures is priceless!
Aren't they just so cute!Showing off for sure . . .
So goofy - but they bring a smile every time!
So cute! Stewart mentioned word verification on his blog, I see there's a W-V box below the comment box on yours, too. Just numbers, and they're readable! :)
They are goofy!
So sweet when he stands on one foot in the bath :D
I never get tired of these beauties. :) one leg and napping...very talented.hugs!Marie
I think about the little bronze friend he has on the side of the bath. Our bird used to have a plastic wife until a new law stipulated that caged animals had to be in sets of two. We bought a real wife for him, but he never loved her and always missed the plastic one. Friends come in all shapes and sizes, I suppose. :)
animals can be so amusing and funny:) They have their own kind of humor!
Your comments are too funny. Goofy is right but so cute.
Oh very nice shots!Hugs Crissi
Lovely photos!!!besos, desde España, Marcela♥
I think the whistlers are my favorite!
Ah!! Whistler Wednesday!! ;)
Outstanding as usual. My fav.
This is so cute and the best pics. Hey look at me, can you do this?? LOL
Great set of photos. I love these little things.
Very entertaining! Also playing "Simon says."
These are so cute. You could do a line of Whistler greeting cards.
Goofy indeed; that one just got so tired he had to rest his little head under his wing!
This guy looks pretty content with his bill buried in his feathers standing on one leg. I am not that coordinated, so admire him I do!
It shows you that knows how to keep in balance :)))
I keep these ducks also really like it:-)
