Silly Mocker

Two regular bird baths on hand, and this silly Mockingbird thinks the horse feed bowl with water in it (for the messy Whistling Ducks) makes the best tub.

Note: This week's Good Fences link-up will open on Wednesday morning and run through Friday afternoon so that those celebrating Thanksgiving Day can participate early, if they wish. Thanks(giving)!

Many mockingbirds lived in our Los Angeles garden. I always found them a little bit different from the rest of the birds. Maybe that's why he is taking his bath here.

T, isn't it just so cute! I love watching birds have a bath. We just spent 70 bucks on a bird bath de-icer. The old one broke. Hope this one last a bit longer!

Chandra said...

Theresa,
This is so cute.
I guess the Mockingbird likes this 'bird bath' for the same reason our silly cats drink out of the dirty fountain; though, I think the cats are a bit lazy to walk to their water bowl.

Have a Beautiful Day!

Peace :)
