Living on the edge seems to be the way to go in your yard!...:)JP
Beautiful. The squirrels hide everything for more difficult times
Awww! Squirrels always make me laugh. They are funny little creatures.
hehehe, wait until you see mine this morning!!!!! if you hurry, we can be right next to each other....... though you may still be sleeping!!!!awesome captures!!!!!
I like the way his tail curls up on his back while he's dining. And the whistlers don't seem too awfully put out. :-)
The goofies do look a bit put off, but I don't think the rat cares at all! :-)
Dearest Theresa; I'm SO sleepy now but you gave me warm smile before going to bed:-)Oh, the cute squirrel has bold mind(*^_^*)Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
Good morning, squirrel and Whistlers on Saturday! Have a great day.
Haha! I can almost hear the whistlers: "they'll let ANYONE in these days"
Hi Tex, Neat photos! I wonder who would be most afraid of the other ... squirrel or ducks? Ha ha. Have a good weekend. John
As you might imagine, I'm in the ducks corner on this one.
It looks like a stand off. My money's on the ducks :)
So cute! The ducks do seem to be ticked off but at the same time allowing the scallywag a few treats.
While one appears nonchalantly to be looking in the other direction. Sneaky. :-)
Tough little buggers!
the ducks look like they are afraid to get closer to the little gray varmint...
·.✿✿ミ Sempre há espaço e alimento para todos no seu jardim!...Fotos maravilhosas também!!!╭✿╯Bom fim de semana!╰✿╮Beijinhos do Brasil.° ·.
what a great company farm birds and wild one
The ducks don't seem to be bothered by the squirel.Greetings,Filip
Sharing is a good thing, we could learn a thing or two from the critters.
Beautiful pictures of the varmint !
Fantastic shots! What do Thelma and Louise think of this interloper?
What a cute little varmint!!Love to see the whistlers in the back!!Great captures Tex!Dimi..
LOL the cheek of him. Have a super Saturday.Best wishes Molly
Hi Theresa, So glad you caught this cute vignette. Fun to see the two species interact. Have a pleasant day today!
Fantastic shots! Absolutely love the lawn green
♥ Adorable squirrel shots!
These look beautiful gray squirrels ... Greetings from far Polish ...
The devious little rascal would care less about those whistlers!
Those squirrels are such persistent fellows too. They will disturb the ducks for quite some time. The squirrels here have favorite places to take their nut to eat. One climbs into a low branch, the same place each day. They are fun to watch, but of course, I don't have ducks to bother. :-)
Oh, so cute ! I love these beautiful creatures ! Happy weekend :)
Squirrels are evil. Ask any dog, cat or bird.
So cute! I love the bushy tail.
Plenty for everyone! Glad they share nicely.
They should be used to that cute critter by now!Lindahttp://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com/?s=The+Adventures+of+Fuzzy+and+Boomer&submit=Search http://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com
lol! They don't look a bit afraid, just a little ticked off at the little fluffy tailed intruder!
Such a cutie!! One of the four squirrels that "live" on my window sill eating sunflower seeds and peanuts just stopped by the window in front of my desk making sure I know they are there and to remind me not run out of seeds!!
Nice captures, They look engrossed with themselves.
Yeah, well, we gotta eat---might as well share. MB
I wouldn't have thought it possible, but they do look disdainful at the sight of that squirrel.
Who knows, finds...Cute Squirrel;))
Hi Tex!The squirrel again. and my dear geese.Cute animals.Have a nice weekend.Lucia
"Heavens, what ruffians this place serves now!"- the Whistlers~
Little fatso has a magnificent tail!
Aw, looks like they're sharing nicely. Your Whistlers really are very well-mannered!
Well, it is the season of giving, after all! :) So nice of the Whistlers to share.Lindy
Beautiful, very beautiful. I love Squirrels.
My money would be on the ducks if they decided to get rid of the interloper! ;-)
Sorry, friends, but you'd best learn to share. There's no such thing as squirrel proof!
Squirrels are no rats - they are just cute :)Love it how they share their meal :))Have a great day【ツ】Knipsa
That made me smile. No "almost" about the disdain expressed by the Whistlers. It came through all the way to Vancouver :)
Got to share if you want to eat :)
Wonderful sequence of shots.
yes the ducks looks like they had their noses put out Have a lovely weekend.
I think "varmint" is fun to watch but "whistlers" are much cuter!
Really super nice pictures of this squirrel. The last picture is quite hilarious with his tail up so hahahahaha .... great to see!
I'm surprised they didn't try to run each other off.
Really great shots and I do like that look on those ducks faces.
:DGreat shots and love the commentary! I do see a definite look of disdain on the middle duck in the first shot. Thanks for the smiles.Have a great weekend!
Great photos, wonderful squirrel!
I love squirrels, they are so cute.
Oh yes, I see a look of dislike on the ducks faces.. I do not blame them at all. The squirrels can be so piggy..You know I love the Whistling ducks, so happy to see them today. Great shots! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!
The duck is giving the stink eye to the squirrel in the next to the last shot! Funny!
Makes me smile. Very nice !
I love seeing animals sharing! all of them think it's their place. LOL
Well, the ducks were nice and shared their food with a squirrel. Regards.
I guess the Whistler's are trying to stay off of Santa's naughty list. ;-)
i love that tail. have a great weekend, Theresa. i have been busy lately. no travels. just living life. lots of getting ready for the holidays. hope you are staying well and great. ( :
Oh yes, very West Side Story-ish:@)
They are certainly wary of each other.
love his little tail curled over his back.
Love your squirrel images and the Whistlers too!
How dare he!
Must have told you a dozen times that I L_O_V_E those whistling ducks as well as your delightfully fat little varmint. Do you know that in England they hunt and eat them? There it is an introduced species which is destroying the native red squirrels.
Ha.. so true. They look downright grumbly!
Dearest Theresa,Natural food rivalry we do find among our garden critters!Hugs,Mariette
Hey, first come first serve!
Those ducks have him outnumbered. If he gets out of line, they can take care of him. They do look like they considered it.
I have to say, I'm a much bigger fan of the squirrel. They are just so fun to watch!Well, for some reason it won't let me comment other than with Millie.
Evening, great post, made me giggle, company coming.Blessings Francine.
They may not have complete trust in each other but they do get along well. I like that.
cute commentary and pictures
Don't you just hate it when they let in the riff-raff?
Love your photos! Those squirrels are so vute...then along comes the whistling duck.
wonder how that worked out . . in my yard, sometimes the squirrels try to run others away . . . although, if whistling ducks are anything like geese . . well, i guess there's a lot to wonder about in the world . . you sure give me a lot of joy . . . Thank You.
The Whistling Ducks are so elegant all decked out in their "suits" with the dark necks and legs. It's funny to see their response to the interloping squirrel. The squirrels try to take over on my deck so I have to put their food away from the birds and shoo them when they try for the birds' seed.
I love watching a squirrel nibble at something. It is adorable the way they hold their food and eat.Have a beautiful weekend. xo Catherine
Wouldn't want those ducks mad at me!If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door. Milton BerleALOHA from HonoluluComfortSpiral <3
Cute little lunch buddy.
The Whistlers seem more apprehensive than the Squirrel even though they totally outnumber the furry little varmint four to one!
Uh oh. There goes the neighborhood. Those squirrels just take over! Bless their hearts. I love them.
It appears that he is acting like an ostrich.
It's funny how they seem scared of the squirrel. Maybe he gave them what for a few times--LOL! ;)
oh wat mooi dat gat heel goed zo samen
Never give up.Start negotiation. Think Win-win.Oh, do they know this?
Gives a whole new meaning to "Combo Meal"!!!
Beautiful pictures.I like lots of the squirrels.
The squirrel does not seem to mind at all, how funny!
*Smile* Cute post!
Maybe, just maybe there's enough for us all! Let me just stuff my mouth with as much as I can...and scurry away....!
A little tolerance goes a long way! :-)
You always capture your buddies so well.......cute photos!
I think they all know you have plenty to share! Cute sneaky squirrel.
Haha! Reminds me of how our chickens share with our dog. Our dog Ginger is very well-behaved and chicken trained, so she would never hurt them. They, however, are very interested in her dog food and deer bones, so they peck at the edge of her dish or on her bones--coming as close as they dare--until the come a little too close, and she scares them away.
Great photos. The squirrel is so cute but I am sure very aware there could be trouble with the ducks!!
But little squirrel is so darn cute!!xo Catherine
The squirrel and the ducks must be used to each other by now. :-) That squirrel is so cute!
What a great tail that squirrel has!
So sweet! Love his beautiful tail :))
They do learn to share. Great pics.
LOL! They do look a little put out.
Cute little fellow. My GF and I just started feeding the squirrel that resides in the tree just outside our front door. He's getting FAT for winter. :)
