It's just like being in school...waiting in line for the water fountain!!By the way, just the other day Bud and I finally finally...heard their whistle. SO neat/pretty sounding!!!

they do look like kids at a water fountain, and I prefer your ducks to kids in my yard. LOL

Morning Texgal. You took the words right out of my mouth with the fountain statement at a school.Have a great day. Your photos are lovely.
I can never get enough of those whistlers!
At the local watering hole again. I hope they don't drink and fly.
Are you kidding mew? They stand in line as if they were English ducks. (They are very good at waiting in line in England.)
I agree with your remembrances. Gee, nowadays I wouldn't even think of using one.
Love those birds! They are much more patient than the kids in line where I went to school. No pushing here. o.O
It started with a nice orderly line...
Those Whistlers Quack me up, great post.Francine.
LOL - awesome - they ARE all lined up!
The last photo had me fooled! I thought the whistler in back was looking over the shoulder of the one in front! Adorable faces!
What polit ducks!!!Lindahttp://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com/?s=The+Adventures+of+Fuzzy+and+Boomer&submit=Search http://coloradofarmlife.wordpress.com

I'm working on our Christmas letter today so I checked your blog that I might "whistle while I worked." Oh that was bad. Sorry...:)
Polite and waiting their turn.
Nice to look at the ducks. Regards.
Quacky comical 😸
Is it just me, or do these Whistlers look bigger than some of the others? Maybe the others were still juveniles.
Ah, ducks in a row!! I love them!
I'm really beginning to love them :) You must give them names :))【ツ】Knipsa
How neatly they stood in line. Aren't you glad we live in the age of the camera? Can you imagine describing the ducks to a blind person?
those Whistlers always make me smile, lovely photos
Haha. Yeah, reminds me of that too, or the taste tester in the King's Court!
I can see the first one, sending a message down the line, and then there were two, hope the bird bath stays upright. Lovely series, as always. Jean.
I love the way the ducks are lining up for their turn (mostly)
Hi Theresa, What can I say - I love these ducks! So photogenic, cute and well, special. Thanks for keeping up your great series on Wednesdays. Your pictures are wonderful! Have a pleasant day tomorrow!

What good manners your Whistlers have.
Those pink feet! I'm starting to really love these birds.
That looks like quite a stretch in the first image! I like your analogy of standing in line at the water fountain. :DCute kids!Lindy
They're always doing something entertaining! Love the line for the "water fountain." How polite they are.
Our little feathered friends! ;-)
Looks like they share better than some of the kids I know! I just LOVE that birdbath! I'd like to have 4, or 5 of them!

They're so polite!
They are so orderly!
They sure are like kids standing in line, or grownups for that matter if you go to the movies or a cafeteria. LOLLove these, T. xoxo
You have trained your Whistlers well. They seem so polite and not so much in a hurry. Great series T.Thanks
Haha. That's what I thought too before I read your dialogue.
I thought someone was about to get goosed in those first photos:@)
"Hurry up in front!"~
btw Do they always whistle the same melody? Ok, I'm joking but do they?
A waiting line of Whistlers - that's hilarious! They seem to keep in formation, too - no pushing or shoving.
And that is one long line....the funny part is...they actually WAIT!!!!...:)JP
T, you starting to have fantasies about Whistlers! No, you're right, they do look like kids at the fountain!
I always think of geese when I see the whistlers as they are so huge.
LOL! That's hilarious! Silly goobers!
I love viewing your Whistlers. Love the last shot as well as the ones with the birds lining up for the water.
It does look like a drinking fountain line. Your Whistlers are very well mannered!
These ducks are still adorable...i bet you pictures of their grandkids by now!!! They are so faithful to return!
Do they actually line up and take turns? Amazing and adorable.
They look like they are patiently waiting their term. Love my Whistler fix. :-)

Good Morning! I love these shots. It does look like the drinking fountain line up in school. So cute!
Those are the sweetest pics of them lining up, you could write your own cartoon column.
Still as nutty as every. Love those guys.
Love their pink beaks and feet. You're so right about the water fountain after recess--good memories!
Aww, they're all grown up, but still so cute.
Love those whistler photos!
Neat to see how they stand in line like that!
lol! silly little ducks!
You know I just love those Whistlers!
So cute - wonder what they'd say if they could talk our language?
Looks like parent whistlers and their youngsters??? I was visiting a last week who winters in the Tampa, Fla. area and she said that they now have about 40 whistlers. She thinks Katrina blew a group of them there and each year, there are more and more!!!
I, too, thought of kids lined up after recess. These photographs had a painterly quality to them that I loved.
That's exactly what I thought of...kids lining up at the water fountain. Cute, cute, cute!
Lol .... also keep a bunch of these vices ducks. All in line for the water hahahaha .... Very nice pictures:-)
A good analogy about the water fountain!
Mottled or otherwise, they are so gosh darn cute! LOVE them...
There's "my" duckies!! I just love them - wonder if we ever have them passing through in MO. Something for me to ponder! Gorgeous photos, as always. Enjoy your weekend! -Tammy
