Hi Tex, These photos are excellent. Your comment about Bev Doolittle made me take a look at her page. Interestingly, I found one of her paintings called "Woodland Encounter". I stayed in a place over the holidays that had it framed and up on the wall. I really admire her work. I have to wonder where someone gets the patience to do that kind of detailed art. Simply wonderful ... and your pics too. Have a good weekend. John

John @ Sinbad and I on the Loose said...

Oh yes, spot on! I was always an admirer of her work and forgotten about it until you just brought her up.

Montanagirl said...

Ha! Fine minds think alike. Bev Doolittle is fabulous, and I posted horses today too, before I saw your post! LOL. Nice photos, girl. Oh, and I'm not a robot, so I'm just going to click "Publish". I've been doing that all along, so I hope my comments have been publishing.

Nancy J said...

I, too, had to look at Bev's paintings, and yours have that same mystical magical feeling, and bookends, why not. and the way the trees frame that photo is almost as though they were made for it, with two back to backs in the trees behind.
