A couple of American Goldfinches at the feeders

Your shots always have so much clarity. Loved the last one - almost like something from a cartoon. Perhaps you could add some (in)appropriate speech bubbles. Or maybe a KERCHUNK! for falling off the perch?

Our finches seemed to have moved on. There's not as many around and those that are (purple finches) are more interested in the sunflower seeds.

Our goldfinches have moved on for the winter. They will be back in the spring I think. This is a fine series
including the Cardinal showing up.

I love the way you have captured the cardinal flying in.

I still see some finches around here, but they are eating the safflower seeds instead of the thistle seeds. I try to clean the thistle seed feeder periodically, but I should do a better job I figure. How often do y'all clean the thistle seed feeder, Theresa?

Could you possibly please whisper in those little guy's ears to fly a little to the norhteast? We seem to have misplaced our gold finches this year...they were here for a moment, then they gone. They usually hang around all year.
